    55 and Pickles- I feel your pain..


    My original doc, after seeing him because I was a few months late, told me I was normal, but too fat to have kids. Bluntly, just like that! I was furious and refused to go back. My new doc hasn't said I have PCOS yet, but my husband and I have been not trying, but not preventing either, since Dec 2008. I was about 60lbs heavier then and my periods were extremely irregular. I finally started to do something about my weight last April after losing 10lbs unofficially throughout the previous months. My periods finally became regular again in June and I haven't missed one since. So at least I'm regular again, but it's very frustrating when TOM shows up. I wish you both nothing but the best :heart:

    Awe thanks Bru! <3 Its rough at times and I haven't been trying for nearly as long as you two and I can understand how it could feel. Iv only been trying for 4-5 months this time and it seems like its never going to happen. Bru maybe sincy your cycles are regular now you ought to try Metformin once you hit your goal / or are ready It really is great.

    Not quite where I wanted to be at this point in the game. TOM had other ideas, apparently. Hopefully next week I can make up for it.

    I keep forgetting whether weigh-in for this group was Friday or Monday and I'm sure someone's told me once, but I joined that many weigh-in's to motivate me to lose each week I can't remember which is which now... lol! :noway:

    Anyway I weighed yesterday on wii fit quick weigh and it told me I had lost 3lbs but couldn't quite believe it, today I got on digital scales and it said I was 10st 11.. had to get on and off 3 times to check and still got it.. so yeah.. i lost 3lbs!!! now 151llbs! first time for years I've been 10st something!! :happy:

    Made my goal with today's weigh-in! I started at 206 and am at 201 now - so close to being under the 2's. :grumble: But I'm gonna keep pushing the rest of the month and break through!

    Just weigh in once a week and it doesn't matter what day. We are a very laid back group here to listen, help and support. Whatever day fits your needs best is the best day to weigh in. : )

    I have not been loosing any weight, still 153. It's because I'm replacing the fat with muscle! Which is a good thing but it looks like I want be loosing that 5 pounds :(

    OMG!!! I can not believe that I am in the 160's!! I have not been here since 2007!! And that is when I was on my way up!! LOL!! What a great feeling... It's about to be my TOM so I hope that I can finish this month at 169.

    Definitely not where i wanted to be. Was hoping to get to the 160s by the end of the month. I guess 1 lb. is better than no lb.'s. I think its the stress i've been through this week w/ my husband's car breaking down and him losing his job. Going to try harder this week!

    Woke up this morning on actual weigh in day and got 151.4!!!!! Is anyone else's weight loss similar to mine? I always see to plateau for a few weeks, then I have a week of a small loss, and then bam... I will end up with like a 2 lb week... and plateau all over again.... Just curious if that happens to anyone else out there...

    Still at 170 from the beginning of the month.

    at least Im finally maintaining. I recently quit buying and drinking up to 5 cans of pepsi a day and Im doing a great job. I have only had 3 cans of soda since wednesday and on friday I went on a date with hubby so I did have a 32 oz and some popcorn.

    After I didn't have soda for 2 days I lost 2 pounds but after a weekend of bad food at work and my date I gained them back but im confident for this week.
