    Your food diary shows you only ate 511 calories. Is that b4 the day was done, I hope? You pic looks great, but that caught my eye!

    "after a long run"... not "at the end of the day"

    I eat between 2500-3000 calories on a dailyyy basis. Yuuup. Where does it allll go? haha

    Thanks for that clarification, maybe I'm just slow. :laugh: Um, 2500-3000 calories....can I just *hate* you now? :wink:

    @barbie: Nice work!

    @AZ: Touche. ;)

    To the couple of peeps who think they need to lose more weight to run, you don't. I was just over 300 lbs when I started. Just start slow & be consistent, & before you know it you'll have all kinds of cool stuff to put in your signature. :bigsmile:

    a. I thought these deserved to be posted again.
    b. I've got a race in the morning, which means I might get to see real life people with legs like these- bonus!

    you look seriously incredible! and this is total motivation for someone in the middle of c25k, like myself!

    Just finished up week six which included a 25 min straight run - I completed this for the first time ever in my life!
    Definitely running a lot slower though than I think most everyone - About 12 min/mi pace only around 5mph.... but hey! 6 weeks ago i could barely run for 90 seconds without thinking i may die.

    As I say a lot, since were MFP friends after all, good for you!

    I'd personally never ever run(unless my life depended on it!)

    I just started running myself, but I really enjoy it! I'm alternating walk/run segments still, but progressing nonetheless. My goal is to run a 5K next year; not sure when it will be.

    I love to see the calories added back to the bank after I exercise... too much fun! :-)

    Love it! Unfortunately, running also gives me leg and foot pain, but it's totally worth it!

    *may cause your food diary to look like this after a long run

    Side effects include:
    - sudden extreme increased energy
    - stress relief
    - extreme boost in confidence
    - better sleep
    - beating people up the stairs
    - walking fast than everyone around you

    Like any other exercise program: consult with your doctor first!

    Congrats on being nearly done with C25K :) I just ran/walked a half marathon at a 12min/mile pace. 15000 people completed marathon/half marathon race...there were at least 5000 people who came in BEHIND me ;) You're not that slow.
