The question is simple... what's the ONE song that always tugs at your heart?

For me - Alison Krauss - Jacob's Dream (true story about 2 boys who wandered off into the woods, only to die).

    The song that always tugs at my heart is, "On Eagles' Wings". I love, love, love the song, but it's played at many funerals. Although it has an uplifting meaning, it still makes me teary eyed!

    Tugs at my heartstrings, or just glurgerrific?

    Because "Teddy Bear" by Red Sovine is pretty depressing. But it doesn't tug at my heartstrings.

    My friend's 17 year old daughter died this past July and every time I even think about the song I tear up.

    I remember when my oldest son was in 9th grade and he was into Blink 182. I got all freaked out when I heard him listening to Adam's Song! (I was a little overprotective at that time.....thought it would invade his mind and give him ideas)!

    One that I listened to today is Landslide, I like the Smashing Pumpkins version and the Stevie Nicks version.
    One that makes me cry is Perfect by Pink as I have a son with learning difficulties and I sing it to him, because he's perfect to me ;-)
