    - Its hard to go
    and
    - I'll never find another you.
    Played at my mum's funeral.

And there are a bunch of Moby songs that make me weepy but I don't think I'll listen to them now to work out which ones!

Haven't read the entire thread so I don't know If I'm repeating or not but here are some:

Iris - The Goo Goo Dolls
Skin (Sarabeth) - Rascal Flatts (my friend is currently battling cancer so this is kind of our song)

And then there is a couple of sad songs in swedish, but I guess not many of you are interested in them. If so, feel free to message me :)

One that I listened to today is Landslide, I like the Smashing Pumpkins version and the Stevie Nicks version.
One that makes me cry is Perfect by Pink as I have a son with learning difficulties and I sing it to him, because he's perfect to me ;-)

I listen to Perfect every single morning on the treadmill (uneditd for me, lol) then sing the edited version to my girls at bedtime because I NEVER want them to feel like I always have...

BUT, the saddest song is Permanent by David Cook.

Elvis Costello - I Want You
  • I'm not much of a country music fan because I'm a big cry baby. I cry at a lot of songs already posted and I didn't read all the posts so these two might be on there too. I have no idea why but I can cry just talking about these two songs, I don't even have to hear them.

Where've You Been - Kathy Mattea
Don't take the girl- Tim McGraw

This makes me think of my husband's step mother during the first stages of dementia. When she was lucid enough to know what was wrong and that it would only get worse as it goes on. She and my Father in law were so in love and this line made me want to ball every time I heard it, because I could just hear her saying this.. "If I lay here.. if I just lay here would you lay with me and just forget the world.. forget what we're told.. before we are too old". Okay, I'm tearing up just typing this.
