    I love how we can be from completely different places, different ages and upbringing but can find common ground. Music is special that way. I like music my mother listened to (50's rock), My grandmother listened (original country, think Hank Williams, Patsy Cline,etc) my adult children listened to and music my 13yo daughter and my grandchildren listen to now. But there's a special spot inside of me for the music I listened to as a teen.

    I hadn't checked in here for a couple of days; but it's funny...we were watching the Pro Bowl yesterday & I commented on how I thought the band that opened was just horrid. And my friend said, well that's what kids listen to today and when they're parents they're going to think what their kids listen to is awful. I felt ancient...

    Being raised by grandparents, spending time with my parents, having raised children who are now raising kids, and having my 13yo and multiple grandkids, I've been exposed to multiple styles of music my entire life...I love music! I could/would never choose only one style to listen to for the rest of my life.

    Laura--Didn't know you started a sunburn thread...not a ginger..except when I get my hair colored..love red tones in hair...but I burn as easily as most gingers.
