BLACK TEAM CHALLENGE WEEK 8

OK guys - I'll take this week (besides, we need to start a new thread before we get shut down).
As we are already:
1. logging our meals
2. drinking at least 8 glasses of water
3. some type of ab work daily
4. heart rate up 5 days a week
5. giving up one bad (didn't see typo until late!:laugh: ) habit
6. staying away from the scales until weigh in
7. (which one did I forget??)
I think we need some type of community challenge..
So, my challenge for this week is for each of us to post on this thread at least once a day, just to check in, or even better, to provide some emotional and mental support to a fellow team member who may be struggling - extra credit for identifying fellow team members by name (and for identifying the challenge I forgot above)..
Let's go guys - let's connect..

OK, so all the posters get one - lori gets an extra for extra post.. sara gets an extra for kissing up, and jeannie gets an extra 2 (1 for kissing up and 1 for the missing challenge)!! :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

I just realized that Amelia (punka)hasn't been on much lately. Hhhmmm....
She dropped out because she wasn't losing pounds just inches! She said she couldn't let us down like that. I told her that this challenge for us was to encourage each other anyway we could. I could care less if none of us lost weight but we were losing inches and we were supporting each other!!0 -

Jeannie - I have found that it is better to work off the sore. I'm not sure if it is technically stretching out sore muscles, keeping the burn going so it doesn't get a chance to tighten up, or just a mental thing,, but definitely helps.
great job working with the trainer Jeannie.. you'll get that one pound and more I'd bet..

we shall see. thanks JB for the challenge. i have been into my :brokenheart: a bit this week....with work stress and not losing weight. I understand why amelia didnt want to check in. I am thankful I have y'all or I may have quit. Knowing I am accountable....and that my words are ' i am going to get healthier, if I lose some weight-great!' reminds me what this is all about.
Friends, getting healthy, having a laugh and encouraging each other!!

Here is the good thing about this BL challenge, I am NOW in a good mood! Why you say........because I realize I HAVE lost 4 pounds since starting this challenge.

Still can't exercise ... feeling like the bronchitis is making a comeback. :noway:
I've been keeping pretty well within my calories ... over yesterday but otherwise good. I think, just maybe, possibly, TOM is trying to arrive, which would explain much about why I've been feeling so yucky in addition to the coughing & stuff. Oh well....
Nice challenge! Sorry guys, I am weighing every day and am going to keep on weighing every day. I'm just a rebel like that. :laugh: It doesn't bother me or make me obsessed ... I just need to do it to keep from being nervous about weighing in and to stay on track better.

I am going until the show ends!!! I don't know about the other teams but there is no way that the show is over in 3 more weeks!! I know the pound for pound thing on BL is over may 5th I think so I think we should go until then.0 -
Okay okay! I'm here! Thanks Sara and Jeannie for calling me out. (2 points).
My life has been... hmmm .. chaotic lately. I am trying so hard not to lose motivation. I just needed a break. I didn't gain any last week, but I didn't lose any either.
I'm trying so very hard to get this promotion at work and jumping through a lot of hoops for it. (3 interviews, background check, a personality test) *sigh* I just can't concentrate right now!
Okay, to contribute to this challenge, I'll see if Laura (1 point) is out there and ask how she is feeling (as she underwent surgery recently). And plus I like her and talk to her even without the challenge, lol.
