    OK guys - I'll take this week (besides, we need to start a new thread before we get shut down).

    As we are already:

    1. logging our meals
    2. drinking at least 8 glasses of water
    3. some type of ab work daily
    4. heart rate up 5 days a week
    5. giving up one bad (didn't see typo until late!:laugh: ) habit
    6. staying away from the scales until weigh in
    7. (which one did I forget??)

    I think we need some type of community challenge..

    So, my challenge for this week is for each of us to post on this thread at least once a day, just to check in, or even better, to provide some emotional and mental support to a fellow team member who may be struggling - extra credit for identifying fellow team members by name (and for identifying the challenge I forgot above)..

    Sorry guys but i dropped out of the challenge last week...its not that i wasn't logging my food or exercising but i wasn't dropping any weight and i felt bad, felt like i was holding back my team!:embarassed: Im trying different approaches and trying to break this "P"word so i will NEVER give up:drinker:

    You don't have to leave for not losing weight. A lot of us have had weeks were we either gained or stayed the same. You can still be on the black team for the support.

    We love you Amelia - we don't care whether you lose, gain, or stay the same (crimmies, I gained 3 pounds last week). Stay with us - please!!!

    Marla - I'm lucky I remember my own kids names - and I only have 2..

    Nicky - good luck with the date on Saturday - so exciting...

    Sara - great job with Marla's kids - funny you forgot sarah :noway: :noway:

    Teresa - weigh or no weigh - I can't keep up with all the challenges either - I can't even remember all of them.

    Amanda - congrats on getting past "obese" - overweight is much more manageable - eyes on "healthy" now..

    Bobbi - knowing the team members names is a bonus - I could never get anyone's spouses as well. At least we all got a good laugh at Lori and Marla's reactions. What a fun team..

    Lynnie (you tough little thing) - keep us posted on Laura - I really miss her and worry about her. I hope everything is OK..

    Andrew (aka batman, aka travel guy) - congrats on the new store, but what a travel schedule. Do your feet ever touch the ground?

    Sam - thanks for agreeing to continue to keep track of our weigh ins. I'm so glad we are not going to stop anytime soon. I love this challenge.

    Roni - I agree with everyone else - love your new AV.. very attractive..

    Jeannie - say goodbye to that pound - it will be leaving (and most likely taking a friend) by weigh in next week.

    Lori - you crack me up.. and your AV is the cutest!! what a sweetie..

    Anna - where have you been - I love your jokes!!

    Shuntae - I have to practice as well - actually I spend a lot of time scrolling to make sure I don't miss anyone..

    Julie - how did you do with the late night snacking? I picked a bad week to stop this (TOM) so actually cheated once - OK twice (you got me)..

    Vanessa - how are you feeling - I worry for you ... life should be better than feeling yucky all the time. Hope they get it figured out soon..

    Hope I didn't forget anyone.. If I did, I suppose sara will deduct points.

    Doing OK today, but did have some apple crisp at lunch - it was horrible and I feel lousy now -

    stupid granny..

    Logging off to go swim off that nasty apple crisp..

    WOW!!! all I can say is how am I going to encourage people if they haven't even responded to everyone else!!! almost two whole pages while I was at work.

    I have had a crappy day!

    I had to be to work at 8:30 but then was called last night and was told to not come in until 10:30. I thought that we didn't have any kids signed up for our morning program but when I showed up there was 4 so I lost out on 2 hours of work because my boss didn't look at the schedule before calling me in late. :noway: :grumble: :explode: :angry: :mad: anyways before I left for work we were doing a group hug. Madison likes those:heart: . a picture frame that was on the wall magically fell off the wall and hit me right on the top of the head.:noway: I had a headache all day and am not allowed to workout today. :grumble: I have eaten crappy :grumble: feel crappy :grumble: and I want to workout but my boss was a sports trainer for the high school football team and said that I shouldn't :grumble: . So, I'm not!!:grumble: :grumble: :noway: :grumble: :noway: :grumble: :grumble: :grumble: :grumble: :grumble:

    Hope everyone (sara, jeannie, janie, marla, andrew, dave, lori,lynnie, nicky, vanessa, anna, shuntae, Laura, amanda, bobbi, roni and everyone else that my hurt brain is not letting me remember) is having a fantastic day!! :heart:

    Okay, I'm horrible with names so I'm not going to bother trying to earn brownie points. You guys love me anyway. haha.

    I want to say that I'm very thankful for this team. Before signing up for this I was losing weight but at a VERY slow pace. Honestly I wasn't terribly keen on the idea of watching what I eat. For the BL challenge I decided to really watch what I put in my mouth. Now, 8 weeks later... it's not HARD anymore. It's easy to keep my calories within the 1250-1500 range.

    I blame this solely on you guys. I love a challenge, and more than that I love a competition. Haha. I hope the BL challenge sticks around until I lose all the weight! You guys keep me accountable. You are my encouragement even when you don't say anything at all. Just knowing you guys are somewhere in the world working your butts off is a huge boost.

    That said I feel bad that I can't read all your posts. ): Too busy too busy!!! ARGH.

    But I hope everyone has a fantastic day, and a wonderful weekend.

    And don't forget Wednesday is coming up fast. THERE'S NO ROOM FOR SLIPUPS... HEE, kidding! KIDDING.

    Okay, this is weird! :noway:

    I have working hard at this exercising quite a lot (in my book anyway) and eating very much healthier and better for me and the weight has been coming off at a good pace. I am pleased. Then Valentine's week-end was hard and it seemed like the days after that were hard too. I had a good weigh-in on Wednesday, down 2.5 pounds from the week before, was happy) and then Wedneday and Thursday were off days, had a horrible time exercising, forced myself through my walk, did'n't run much because my legs were dying, went over on my calories by 200 points and I was throughly disgusted. Yesterday I went to water aerobics, calories were high again and I was getting upset, jumped on the scale yesterday and today and I have lost another 1.5 pounds. I don't understand, why when I seem to have came to a stand still I lost weight. Do I leave things alone, up my calories or just figure my body doesn't have a clue what it is doing. I am so happy about the weight but can't figure out if I need the rest or the extra calories. I always eat my exercise calories, sometimes I exercise so I can eat! :laugh: Does this make sense???

    I'm sort of new to all this, and not an expert by any means, but my first reaction is that your body may be catching up to all the good work you have been doing previously. I would keep at it and not change much..

    I know for myself, it usually takes a little while for my bad habits (or good for that matter) to translate on the scale.

    As long as you are on the losing end - go for it...

    Head is better. the spot that got hit still hurts but headache is gone. I'm off to a boring day at work. I hope there aren't any kids that sign up tonight don't really want to be there until 10:30pm and then have to be there again at 8:30am.

    OH JANIEBETH! I just got off my exercise bike for 32 minutes, burnt 350 calories according to my HRM. I was above 80% of HR for 18.33 minutes, at target HR for 10.24 minutes and below for 3.03 minutes. Was that good enough for you!!!! :laugh: :heart:
