Sam...Glad to hear your head is feeling better.0

Sam – Sorry about hitting your head. Glad you’re feeling better today.
Andrew – Nice of you to stop in and say “hi” even though you’re tired.
Lynnie – Still wishing you good luck with that job!
Nicky – We will take the blame for your success! Don’t worry. We won’t deduct points for being too busy to respond to every post. You posted today so that still counts!
Amanda – It is weird how you can lose weight when expecting a gain or a stand still. Then other times when you are positive you lost, you really gained. I think our bodies just have a mean sense of humor and like to mess with our minds.
SpongeMarla Squarepants – Still going well with not overdrinking? Wait, that sounds bad. Not overdrinking your WATER.
Sara - Where are you today? We miss our other drunk aunt!
Hello to everybody else too!
Harley and I are going to the mall today to pick up her pictures. I want to try jeans on too. All of my 10's and 12's are getting loose so I'm hoping to find a pair of 8's that fit me right. (Crossing my fingers. I don't always have the best of luck trying on jeans.) Talk to you all later!0 -
Hi Roni..I hope you have a good day.
Amanda...WTG on the exercise bike.
JanieBeth..I just finished my Jillian Shred...Level Three Day 5. I have 5 days to go to finish the 30 day shred.:drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:0 -
Lori...Good Luck with the jean hunting. I hope the guardians of the size 8's smile on you today.0
-
Z just declared that, "mom...you're squishy."...as he was squeezing my upper arm. Oy. I guess what I thought was turning into fine-tuned muscle mass, a 3 year old sees as "squishy." :grumble:
I'll BBL to chat & check in. Just wanted to share that funny...or not so funny...I haven't decided yet.0 -
Sara - Where are you today? We miss our other drunk aunt!
Drinking my lunch. :drinker:0 -
One more thing & then I have to go workout.
I'm buying a HRM (I think I've hit another p-word & am quite finished with all this nonsense...it IS my THIRD for pete's sake!). Any suggestions from all y'all or do you all just have the Polar F6?0 -
polar f6. love it.
forgot to set it this morning for my 1 hour training with frauline helga....uh i mean my trainer!
I am so mad because now I just get to input the silly 190 MFP gives me when I KNOW she made me do more than that. But she was easy on me today because I told her how sore I was last time.
I DONT think she will be this nice next week! LOL
I am very thankful I have her. she is kind, has 3 grown kids and quit a job doing something she hates to do something she loves! So much respect for her!
I hope everyone has a great day!!!
:glasses: Jeannie0 -
Amanda - sounds great - I will be happy to see your results on Weds/Thurs - now I feel guilty because I am so far un-worked out..
Sara - I have an F6 and I love it.. I got it off Amazon.com for less than I could find it other places - good to shop around though. Mom, you're squishy - LOL.. Mine are just brutally honest and tell me I am fat.. gotta love the honesty of the young..
Jeannie - I am so proud of you for hooking up with a trainer - can't wait to see your results on Weds/THurs
Lori - OMG size 8 - I'd have to lose a whole person to get there - you go girl..
Bobbi - Level 3 of 30-Day Shred - YOU RULE!! I am still whining and crying through Level 1.. It is the darned jumping jacks and push ups that kick my butt. It sure feels wonderful after I stop though..
Hope everyone is doing well..
Back to work :grumble: :grumble:
janie0 -
Okay, first about me. Two words: Pro. Moted!
FINALLY!!!!!!! Thanks for all your well wishes!!!
Okay next,
Sam, glad you are feeling better
Amanda. Dang confusing bodies!
Jeannie. Wish I could hook up with a trainer I'm not that brave!
Lori- I want size 8's! You go girl!!!
Sara. Squishy arms give the best hugs. I'm sure that is what the baby bean meant.
Bobbi-glutton for punishment I can't do the shred the jumpiing jacks make me pee my pants.
Janie, your challenge makes me happy.0 -
I had to read "Pro. Moted." 3 times, Lynnie. I'm not smart today. Must be the gin & juice I had for breakfast. YAYAYAYAYAY! Congrats on the promotion! Does this mean you don't need to be transfered to the store an hour away now?! Woooooo HOOOOOO!!!!!
Tresa - are you feeling better with the bronchitis?
Jeannie - I'm so glad that you're taking the time with the trainer. I'm SURE it'll pay off for you...even if she does turn into the trainer from hell next week.
Amanda - Good job with the scale! Sometimes your body just needs a little kick in the pants, I think. Mixing it up is probably a good idea. Just don't get in too big of a habit of "relaxing" on it b/c then your body will notice. Believe me...I know. :grumble:
Janie - if my kids called me fat, they'd never see another cookie or cake in their life. Take that ya little brats! Thanks for the info on the HRM on amazon. I've been researching them for about 3 months & noticed that they seemed to be a better price there, too. I was really shocked that overstock.com didn't have a "bargain" price for them like I thought they would! That is one good thing about online shopping, though! Easy comparison shopping! WOO!
Sam - Glad you're feeling better today! *hugs* Good luck keeping the kiddies away at work. Having such a short amount of time between shifts is the worst. Blech.
Lori - WOO HOO for size 8s! I bet they fit you wonderfully! I managed to squeeze into a pair a couple weekends ago, but I decided to wait until the final weight is off to make SURE that they'll fit. There was still a bit of muffin top goin' on. :grumble: BUT, size 12 was my original goal so I'm already ahead of the game! YAY! I hope Harley behaved & didn't shriek while you were trying stuff on!
Andrew - I hope you had an easier day today (hahaha...like that's going to happen any time soon). Good luck making it through the rest of the business trip. How's Beth holding up at home with the boys?
Amelia - Hey! How's hubby's new job going?
Vanessa - How's life? How is your bf's new job going?
Anna - Wheeeeeereeee arrrrreeeeee yoooooouuuuu?
Shuntae - How's the diet soda rebelion going?
Marla - I nearly choked on my toast this am when I saw your new pic in your sig line. HA! Andrew's funny....
Hello to everyone else! I hope that Friday was good to you all!
Soooooo.....I decided not to work out today. I'm having a bad week on the scale (b/c we all KNOW i'm an addict) and it just keeps going UP every single stinkin' day since last Sat. I've been really good with my cals & I've been working out like a nut. SO, the last time this happened, I ended up plateauing for a month afterwards. The fix for that was a day of crap eating & no exercise. Therefore, today was crap eating & no exercise. It took a lot for me to do it b/c I feel like such a cheat when I do, but I just need to keep telling myself that it worked last time! If it doesn't work this time, I appologize a million times over b/c I know it'll just screw the scale up even more for Wednesday! BAH!
Doug's all hyped up about dinner at Sonic tonight (yay:grumble:) and then I'm hitting the sporting goods store for a HRM.0 -
I just have a minute, but Sarah, I got an excellent price on my HRM at the local sporting goods store. It was $39.99 and I love it. It is the Reebox Precision XT. It has the chest strap and it has made working out so much for worthwhile, it seems, in my mind!!0
-
Can't stay long - need to cook dinner..
YAY LYNNIE - Congrats on the promotion.. I hope this settles down at least some of your work stress..
Hang in there everyone - I will be shredding Level 1 after dinner... then probably some Yoga to get my heart back in my chest..
janie0 -
Yay Lynnie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:flowerforyou: :drinker: :flowerforyou: :drinker: :laugh:0 -
JanieBeth...you can do it.0
-
Hey kids...you guys have sure been busy on the boards!
Lynnie- Congrats on the promotion; that is so awesome!
Janie- You can do it! The Shred is no joke, but it's an awesome workout
Sara & Andrew- The diet soda thing is going really well, much better than I thought. I had one last Sunday when BF and I went to the movies, but none since then. Yay me!
Amanda- I think you've just inspired me to check out the sporting goods store to look at HRMs. I've been wanting one, but still shopping around for good deals.
Marla- I'm so glad that water decided to go away for a change!
Sam- Glad to hear that your head is feeling better.
Hope everyone had a great Friday! I need to go and act like I have things to toss, give away and keep to pack...I've got moving to start! Whoo hoo! :bigsmile:0 -
Wanna know what makes me happy? 20% off the Polar F4! Heck yeah, baby! Best price I found anywhere at anytime. I guess we picked a good day to go to MCSports! Woo! I have a new toy. hehehe:bigsmile:
Janie - Good luck getting that workout in! I'm sure you'll do great!
Amanda - Thanks for the tip! I'm so glad I went tonight! Fun stuff tomorrow! LOL0 -
Roni - Hope your day wasn't too hectic! I suspect having teenagers is constantly an "on the run" type of thing.
Bobbi - WTG on only having 5 days left of the Shred! That's awesome! Do you like that workout?
Nicky - I'm SO proud of you for sticking with us! You are doing absolutely great! Are you excited about your date tomorrow?!0 -
Bobbi - Good job on the Shred. I’ve never done it but I hear it’s a real workout.
Sara – I’m sorry Zeke said that. (Though I must chuckle a little.) Luckily Harley is still too young to comment on my body. I used to complain to my mom that her shoulders were too bony to lay my head on them. Also, I’m a follower. I have a Polar F6 like all the other cool kids.
Jeannie – Have fun with your trainer. (Is that possible?)
Lynnie – YEA! Good job! Now you don’t have to stress about if you will or if you won’t.
The mall started off badly. I tried on 2 size medium bathing suits and I looked like a stuffed sausage in both. I won't be wearing one for another few months so I figured I'll just wait until then to buy one. But then I did well with regular clothes. I didn't try on any 10's or 12's. All of the 8's buttoned and zipped with no muffin top. Some, the cut just wasn't right. I ended up getting 3 pairs. Plus 3 shirts - 1 medium and 2 smalls. I even tried on a pair of 6's jeans that zipped and buttoned (though they did give me a m.t.) I was still pumped. I've never worn a 6 in my adult life. I think the last time I wore an 8 was like 8th or 9th grade. I didn't buy them but it sure put me in a good mood.
For lunch I got a chargrilled chicken sandwich and a water at Chick-fil-A. For me, this is impressive. I judge restaurants by their bread and their fries and I L-O-V-E Chick-fil-A's waffle fries. But I didn't have the calories so I resisted. I felt so proud. :bigsmile:0 -

GREAT job on the soda, Shuntae! I knew you could do it! Woo! Are you moving?! Would you like to come & purge my house after you're done? Pleeeeease?:flowerforyou:0 -

What a GREAT day you're having, Lori! I'm proud of you, too! WTG, on the clothes! I'm the same way about clothes. I haven't been in a size 10 since the year after I graduated high school. My wedding dress was even a 12 & I had to lose weight to get into THAT! SUCH a great feeling!0 -

Yes, I am moving...when the lease on my apartment runs out at the end of April, I'll be moving in with my boyfriend. So exciting!0 -
Awww! That's fun, Shuntae! How long have you been together? You don't have to move too far away, do you? I'm living through you right now b/c I would LOVE to move out of this house & get a new one, but it SO isn't in the cards right now. Too many kids & not enough space!0
-
We'll be together for 3 years in June.
I'm only moving about a half hour away from where I am now. He owns his own condo, so we'll be there for a while...which ought to be interesting, because space is TIGHT there. At least it will only be the two of us and my cat.0 -
That's great! I hope it works out well for you! Good luck with the packing!0
-

Thanks! I was having second (and third and fourth) thoughts for a little while, but now I'm much more excited than anything else. It will definitely be a big change and take getting used to, but we're starting a life together, and that's what happens. I can't wait!0 -
Sarah, I want to give you some encouragement when it comes to the house situation. MY dh and I lived in a 12x56 single wide home for the first 8 1/2 years of our marriage. It was one bedroom and another tiny room that fit a bed for our son. We had daughter #1 there and I got pregnant with baby #3 there. I also did daycare there so I had 7 children in there Mon-Fri for 5 years. I am only telling you this because when we moved out to my dream house in 2004, I cried every time we drove by our old house for a good four months. It was on the main highway so I drove by it like three times a week. I am not sure if it was because I was pregnant or what but that old trailer meant so much to me, it was where my babies grew in there early years and where they took their first steps, etc. I couldn't wait until we could move until we moved. I am not sure why I am ramblng, but I understand how you feel about tiny spaces. Hang in there!!!! :flowerforyou:
Shuntae, have fun getting ready to move. It is a chore but hopefully well worth it in the end.
Sarah, enjoy your new toy. I love mine!!!
Lynnie, WAY TO GO ON THE PROMOTION!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!0 -
Awww, thanks, Amanda! I know I'll miss this dinky house when we move out of it. We bought it right before we got married & have a lot of memories (and $ :grumble:) into it, but it is just getting flat out uncomfortable in here! Thanks for the encouragment, though. I appreciate hearing things like that. Makes me feel not so alone in things, kwim? :flowerforyou:0

Weird isnt it, I think sometimes its ok to confuse your body. I have been nothing but regimented and near perfect on my food and excersise since I started this but this week with being on the road has been nothing short of a disaster. One work out and some seriosuly shakey eating....yet I am still dropping. Go figure. But it is back to business asap. Cant wait to go home on Tuesday!:bigsmile:0
-
That is AWESOME! congrats! I am so happy for you! Such a great feeling. Just kick back tonight and take it all in :drinker:0
