What do you get on your subway?

I usually only eat there at breakfast time since they have one of those 'order at the window' drive-thurs and lunch is uber packed. For breakfast I get the southwest on an english muffin with no cheese, extra onion and spicy mustard. I'm a mustard fanatic!0
-
Subway Club on wheat with provolone and spinach, tomatoes, pickle, cucumber, onion, olives, vinegar and honey mustard. :-)0
-
6" tuna on honey wheat with swiss cheese and baby spinach, lettuce and tomato. I haven't had Subway in foreverrr though!0
-
6 inch, wheat, turkey, lettuce, spinach, pickles, onions, banana peppers, and brown mustard and i also get apple slices YUM0
-
Whole wheat, all veggies, no mayo or dressings except mustard. Water instead of soda. Sometimes I take off one of the breads to save on calories. Extra green veggies and that is it.0
-
6" (and I might add I should probably just order a round sandwich if they still have them because I can only eat half of a 6 inch) Veggie delite. Lite mayo, pepper jack cheese (gotta have the cheese) Lettuce, tomato, onions (lots of onions please), bell pepper, banana pepper, jalapeno's, and a splash of salt and pepper and oil and vinegar...
I know the oil and vinegar is not the best but if I go to subway it's a treat and is about the only fast food place I go. And I only eat their white bread.0 -
Im eating subway right now!!
I got the flatbread, egg, pepperjack, ham, spinach, cucumbers and hot sauce!!0 -
6" in turkey breast on 9-grain wheat. Light mayo, loaded with veggies. No cheese, not toasted.
You can ask them to take out the middle part of the bread to reduce the carbs.
Also fyi, i'm doing some research on the bread. I can't see to find if the 9 grain wheat bread is a healthier option than the Italian white bread. I looked a the nutrition info, the Italian has the same/less cals and what not. Both are made of enriched wheat flour. Does anyone know?0 -
6' wheat, turkey, american cheese, baby spinach, 6 tomatoes, cucumbers, a GIANT handful of banana peppers, and either lite mayo, or ff ranch. I eat all the veggies off of it first, then will eat the sandwich typically im to full to finish it when i eat the veggies first. no cookies or chips.0

6 inch oven roasted on 9 grain wheat, topped with the veggies i like, and sweet onion sauce. and a diet soft drink or water...sometimes i do get the baked chips to go with my sub.0
-
When I go to subway I get a salad or wrap0
-
I haven't had a Subway since before I joined MFP, and now I really want one
I usually get just a simple turkey breast and ham, with a little cheese on hearty italian0 -
-
I get the footlong turkey breast and black forest ham with all the veggies and just about 1 tbsp of sweet onion sauce. It is a good meal. Stay away from the sides, the sandwich is good enough. If you get the 6 inch it will be less calories. I usually get it on the whole grain bread (forget what it is called). To compliment Subway Restaurants, they have an awesome nutrition facts site. You can essentially pick and choose and make your own combination.0

just curious and to how healthy your sub is.
I get 6" wheat no cheese, ham, all salads and sweet onion and just pepper
When I go to Subway, I make sure to leave a lot of calories left on my log because I just can't eat just a 6" sub! I eat the entire foot long, lol... It keeps me soo full that I normally skip snacks, and sometimes dinner (i normally have it for lunch.
Bread: Hearty Italian (210 calories per 6") = 420 calories
No Cheese
Condiments (I make sure they dont put too much): Chipotle Southwest (100 calories) and Light Mayo (50 calories) = 150 calories
Veggies: Banana Peppers, Green Peppers, Olives, Lettuce, Onions, Pickles, Tomatoes = 35 calories total
Meat: Turkey Breast (70 calories per 6") = 140 calories
That's nearly 373 calories per 6" sandwich...0 -
Black Forest ham, lettuce, green peppers, black olives, onion (extra veggies) on wheat with mustard OR turkey w/ the same and lite mayo. YUM!!!0
-
Subway is my favorite place to eat..regardless of high sodium...it sure beats a big mac and a whopper...
i get the flatbread, sometimes 6", sometimes 12" (lunch and dinner) i choose either seafood crab, roast beef, steak n cheese or cold cut...cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, lite mayo, ketchup, mustard and salt n pepper (dash) - no chips, no sodas...i perfer eat heavy during the day (lunch) verses dinner. I workout extremely hard to burn all calories :-)0 -
6 inch wheat bread. Either Oven roasted chicken breast or turkey breast. NO cheese, lettuce, onions, banana peppers, olives, cucumbers and spicy mustard.0
-
6' turkey breast on wheat bread with swiss cheese, salad, cucumbers, bell peppers, pickels, tomatoes and mustard.
I don't have it so often anymore, but I like it very much :-)0 -
Either Ham or Ham/Turkey on the Honey Oat bread - toasted
Lots of lettuce and lots of spinach, then tomatoes, pickles, onions, carrots if they have them, and Honey Mustard
I finally convinced myself to quit adding the cheese, but sometimes I do if my calcium is running low.0 -
6' on either italian or 9 grain whole wheat - sweet onion chicken teriyaki, ham, ham & turkey, or oven roasted chicken breast...lettuce, onions, cucumber, green pepper, spinach. I apply my own mustard, or either use 1 tbsp kraft reduced fat mayo with olive oil0

What Pi$$es me off is Jillian Michaels suggest a veggie sub with avacado. Well, my local Subways don't even offer avacado. What's up with that?0
-
exactly how I get mine...buffalo chicken, usually on her & cheese bread. I also get tuna, BMT, & subway melt made same way with a littlew spicy mustard, no mayo. I rotate sandwiches with salads so I will have a variety & dont get tired of eating it fast. THey also have good soups, if they fit into your daily calorie count0

Roast chicken on 6" flat bread no cheese, all veggies except green peppers, and mustard.0
-
12" veggie on wheat, no cheese. Lettuce, onion, heavy pickles, heavy banana peppers, a little jalapeno, sometimes oregano. 460 calories for the whole thing!0
-
Everything except pickles and hot peppers.
And I mean EVERYTHING!
I love all those veggies.
And I usually get the foot long meatball with pepper jack cheese.0 -

I've been to lots of Subway locations, and I've never seen avocado. Must be a regional thing...0 -
Six inch turkey on wheat with spinach, green peppers, cucumbers, a LITTLE bit of oil, and a light dusting of pepper.
*tummy growls*
Dang, I'm hungry!0 -
depends on my mood, but usually roast beef or turkey with bread scooped out, jack cheese and lots of veggies with the fat free honey mustard and a very, very light drizzle of chipolte!!0

You can only eat half of a 6-inch? Wow. I wish I could say that. I usually order a footlong, and sometimes I try to save half of it for later...with a very low success rate.0
