Woman: Doing it like a dude

I think this is personal preference. I have heard more than a few men say that "ripped" women aren't attractive to them. Some people like skinny, some people are chubby chasers, some people like short, some people like tall, etc.
I agree with this. The important thing is to do what makes you feel beautiful when you look in the mirror.0 -
The one in the black top and bottom definitely resembles a dude and could easily stump someone with the "Guess That Gender?"0

I think men that are fit, like women that are also fit. I know I do. (not saying I'm particularly fit)0 -
Agreed. I love to lift...not little weights either. Loving the toned look versus just skinny.0

I agree. I think fit men can appreciate the work that a toned woman puts in to looking like it.0 -
I personally would love to look like the girl in the black. She worked incredibly hard to get at that level0

My husband is very fit. My arms do not look like his, and I think he's glad for that.0 -

It's damned hard work to get to a level of fitness. And I think I can tell when when a woman has done the work. Vs just being thin or just happens to be attractively skinny/curvy. Some things 99% of us aren't going to get w/o hard work. That I can appreciate.0 -

This is true! There are always rule breakers though, you know, people you see and think, "how are they together?" haha0 -
I just wished they were wearing pants.... since it's a public gym. Besides that those girls are SMOKING hot! I'd prefer to be more curvy but damn those girls have dedication and look good.0

I hear women say a lot that they lose the boobage when they get that buff. Besides a boob job, how do you get that buff and keep curves? I'd be interested in hearing the solution.0

So the actual body builders who show extreme dedication and training to look the way they do aren't real?
Yeahh...
Ok, they are real women. Im sure they have all the womanly body parts necessary to be considered "real". What I mean by real is seeing women who do not have fake boobs, botox, lip injections, bleached blond hair, wearing a bikinis working out. Its basically a raunchy "motivational" video gone wrong. That isn’t real to me, but to each their own. Just sayin…0 -

What curves? the legs/butt/hip area?
Many lifts that work that area :] Deadls/squats/lunges gives strong thick thighs and a nice butt0 -
Now that I've actually watched the video..... DAMN. A wanna rear end like those ladies.
They were lifting in that vid? All I saw was @ss. The lady in blue had nice arms, like ones I'd like to have someday.0 -

Many women on mfp have fake boobs. And I have part of my hair bleach blonde.
They are also models/actual bodybuilders. There is standards in the business competition just like "normal" modeling. Fake boobs for modeling is what is needed. If I were to compete I would too - or i wouldn't be considered.
I doubt they always wear bikinis working out. For a video for SimplyShredded I don't see the harm
No need to put down women who work damn hard just sayin....0 -

I think in order to keep the boobs the only solution is a boob job. If you have such a low bf% there isn't enough fat to make boobs.0 -
LMFAO! The comments are freakin hilarious!!! The one in the black was a little to muscular for my taste but she has a very nice *kitten*!0
-
I have a hard time taking this seriously just because of the way they are dressed and, yes, the fake boobs. I want to look buff but without surgical intervention or other supplementation...
why is everyone picking on the boobs and such? (not just you...just snatched this to quote ) i mean, these ladies apparently work their *kitten* off to have such amazing defined bodies. one is a little too muscular for my liking but damn she looks great...way more in shape than most of us. AND speaking from experience, when you lose the weight and tone up...you lose the boobs. i lost everything i had and i mean EVERYTHING. the only way to get them back and still stay lean...implants. so, i did it too.0 -

I've considered doing that too. Was there a lot of recovery time?0 -

Yep, me too, only I call it 'having them restored to their former glory' I did not get an unatural increase in size, just filled em back up with NO FAT. LOL0 -
Well that one and related videos just took 30 minutes of my day.
Ps, the camera man is def a butt guy0 -
These women are fitness professionals, so yes they have lower body fat than most of us should have or want to have. We can still lift that heavy, maintain higher body fats (and a little big of boob) and be incredibly sexy..0

There is a bit of recovery time. About 3 weeks until you can do light exercise and then after that you work your way back up to your usual routine. There is difficulty in moving your arms for a while and obviously anything that requires chest strength.0 -
 Ummmm, yeah, no...this didn't impress me so much. Kudos to them for being so fit, but Jans and Franz there came across conceited and stuck up (imo). That's what turned me off the most, their unspoken attitude. But, yes, I agree with many others here that the one in black had me questioning. I thought there was some sort of joke at the end....you know, like surprise I've got a "barbell"! :noway: I still wouldn't turn them down as a personal trainer though, lol.0

I hit the gym in my thong all the time... to many haters on here!
me too!0
