Just an idea ...I kinda am looking for sweet treat recipe ideas that dont require cheating or making excuses...you know Im not one to have 1/2 a muffin or 1/2 candybar LOL or to even have to budget for it in calories. I would like to find some really healthy sweet tooth recipes that also provide great nutrition perhaps things using soy and fruit any ideas? ...kinda like thinking outside the box recipes.
Myas Mandarin Delight
Lite or FF Cool Whip
Mandarin Oranges & Pineapple Chunks *Drain and Rinse*
1 Packet of Splenda *if needed*
Top with 1 Fresh Cherrie *NOT Marachino*
Mix in a Bowl and YUM no guilt no excuses!! I would recomend 1/2 cup as a portion size
I also freeze this so it becomes a little thick and have it when everyone else is having icecream0 -

I haven't been as disciplined about logging my food as I'd like... so I'm going to make a commitment to post my food for the day here at the end of every night. If I don't have time/ Internet access that night, then I'll post it first thing in the morning, or the next time I'm at a computer. That will keep me accountable and you are guys are free to give me suggestions/ pointers about what I eat.
Jess, I finally bought the ingredients and made my own "Breakfast Wrap" this morning!!! I only used half a tortilla to save on calories/ carbs, 1 banana, and 1 TB each of natural Peanut Butter (I had to buy Smuckers because it was the only natural kind the grocery store had) and honey. It was delicious!!!
For the last two days I've worked out at the gym before work with my friend... I love starting out the day that way.
Oooh, yummy!! Thanks for the reminder again, I just stocked up on bananas! Good job getting in your workouts too!0 -

Hello everyone! I'd be willing to start a monthly thread...though at the rate we're going we'll probably need 2 per month:bigsmile:
How is everyone doing today? My exam went well today so now that it's over...Bringing IT tonight with KenpoX and TurboJam. Mya you have me doing 2 hours of cardio a day now too. It's crunch time and summer is just around the corner! (Even if it does feel like 20 degrees out right now)
Oh, if you are a P90Xer, I forgot to mention that I met Tony Horton in Las Vegas in July (or maybe it was June) last year. He's a lot smaller than I expected him to be. As in, he's only about 5'10" or so...and very compact. Oh well, he was supernice when I was a bit apprehensive of talking to him (he was out with a colleague exploring LV on time off from their convention). It was awesome! Too bad I didn't have a business card because he was a big fan of my company's product and he was going to send me Ten Minute Trainer for Free!! :noway: :noway: I'd buy it anyway. Lol.
Way to bring it everyone! Looks like nutrition has been spot-on!

Oh yeah...buy a bag of frozen berries and go to town! I love blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry mixes. They make protein shakes taste good too.0 -
Well, I'm back from my run! Ran 5 miles with speedwork, then 600 yd swim. Met my hubby for lunch at Flat Top Grill, it's a make your own stir fry type place. I loaded up w/ lots of yummy veggies, a little brown rice, and had chicken & tofu for protein. YUMMY! I have no idea how to figure out my cals, but I know it was all healthy and the veggies were low in cals. And... am probably going to be running tonight w/ my running buddies too. Double day!
Hope you all are having a good one!
