Happy Birthday Pam! I had some ice cream for you!!
Well for those of you not on my friend list...I sprained my ankle pretty bad. It's tendon issues! I'm in a big black boot for 2 weeks at minimum! I'm SO mad! I had to quit 30ds at 9 days! I was doing that and Zumba, running, walking, etc. Sigh! But I've decided I'm gonna keep at it. I am going to keep doing sit ups and crunches, girl push ups which is all I can do anyway cuz I have bad wrists and had surgery where they removed a whole region of my wrist on the inside (you can't tell on the outside)....anyway so I'll do those...and that is how I'll have to do the challenge this week. Then il be lifting with the hubby to keep the work outs going! I am just bummed cuz I was doing good. Even with my stupid pulled muscle from last week in the other leg. I think this all came from not wearing shoes in the beginning. Now I'm paying cuz I can barely walk! As much as this boot is a pain in the butt...at least I can walk! Anyway what doesn't kill ya makes you stronger! Right? Ugh! My body can't handle the work out with how much weight I have gained! Ughhhhh! This 40 pounds WILL be gone!
Feel better! You can do it but do it slowly. Give yourself time to heal!0 -

Going to the boat show this weekend and staying overnight
at a Hotel in the City. I have to keep my mind on my
intake of calories. Walking will be my exercise.
I will be drinking very little because I am still on antibiotics. :sick:0 -

Agh...I'm a very late post due to mixing up my challenges...but my weight on Monday was 178.4! Yay after being 181.4 for an entire week...0

So, we're halfway through this week & I am liking the number I am seeing on the scale today. I just need to stay the course & keep my focus so that I can report a nice loss this week!! Actually, after last week, any loss will do!!
Also, have any of you ever weighed before & after a hard workout?? I find that lately, my weight will drop 3-4 lbs!! It jumps back up after I hydrate, but I just find it very interesting!
Keep up all the hard work! Let's make this week 2 the best one eva!!0 -
Thanks for all the advice and encouragement. Today I was feeling bummed because I couldn't do any cardio. I did 75 push ups today, 75 crunches, 30 side crunches and a ton of flutter kicks. Its also that time...which prob isn't helping my mood any!! Anyway goodnight everyone!0

I realize I am like WAAYYY behind - my starting weight was 193, down to 192 beginning of this week. Hopefully I won't forget to post on Sunday or Monday this week... I was 188 prior to Christmas, so hoping to get back to that really soon and keep on going!0

WOO-HOO, I'm down 3.3 pounds!!!!! In case you can't tell I'm very excited! I was under everyday this week and worked my butt off at the gym. I took a spinning class this week, I had such a great time, can't wait for the next one! Hope everyone has a wonderful weigh in on Monday!0 -
Doing mine early, because I have some errands to run tomorrow and Monday, so I might not be able to do it then. Plus I dropped a pound this morning, so I don't think there will be any more loss the next few days.

Happy Saturday! We took the tykes to swim class this morning, so didn't get my workout in. But I read about the Olivia method and the Paleo diet, and - wow! I think I'm going to keep going with plain-old vanilla flavor calorie counting for a while still! Trying to do more meal planning, so I'm not making choices on an empty stomach - and checking nutrition info for restaurants so I can make my decision in advance there too.

I do like that my new scale doesn't change its mind about what I weigh every minute. Down 1.6 pounds for the week so that gives me 2 weeks to get to 180 that should be doable.0 -

I'm nervous and excited for tomorrow. I lost a few pounds this week and I didnt weigh myself today so hopefully I'll still be down! I haven been able to do cardio and I'm bummed about 30DS when I was on day 9. But once I start maybe I can move to level two quicker. We will see! I have been doing the 7 sets of 7 push ups plus more. I was up to 125 two days ago. 50 yesterday and none yet today but I'll prob try to get 50-75 in tonight. The other challenge --- not so much! Anyway good job to those who lost! Sorry about the gain....hopefully you'll get it next week!! See ya all in the morning!0
