Need some advice on "Saddle soreness".
I am a new rider and after two days of cycling my cheeks are pretty sore. Is this normal? Any advice/tips much appreciated.

Padded shorts do help. And over time I think our butts get used to riding.
If it persists, you may want to try out different seats. I had one seat that was just dreadful. I tried for 2 weeks before I gave up on it.0 -

in January, I'm going for at least 180. It'll probably have to be mostly on the trainer if last January's weather was typical in our town. Egad.

I need to up the pace to make my goal for the month. Let's see, I need 154.11 miles and I have 24 days left, but I need to take a day off each week, at least, so that means I need 7.33 miles for each trainer ride, since we know these are going to be mostly trainer rides... Must rethink plan...0 -
