Sam, Rub it in ydontcha. I can't wait until our outside pools are open.

Marla,I stopped at two and thank God every month when TOM arrives. What is the tv show where the family just added 18?? I believe those were all single births.

I rub the sunscreen in everyday!!!

the Duggars are the family you are thinking about and they had all singles except for one set of twins. and they all start with the letter J.

You forgot to mention that they are all insane. lol

    Evening everyone,

As is the case when I get quiet I have been on the road for work the last two days. This challenge is interesting...considering I live in the wilds of Maine. I'll put on my hat and scarf and give it my best. LOL,

    Tresa- hope you feel better!
Sam-Do as I do. Stay away from other threads. I only have about 3 threads that I visit.
Marla-I have been baby crazy lately but I know the sane part of me is happy with two so I have to keep myself in check or stay 500 yards away from the DW until I am over this or I might end up with three.

Everyone else_ I hope you have a great night!!!!!!!!

well, here's how screwy our perceptions of ourselves are-- I think of myself as chubby in high school, and I was 5'8" 154-- which was my original goal when I started losign weight. I'd be a rail now at 154.

Just 'cause I wasn't a stinkin' cheerleader skinny butt, I thought of myself as fat....go figure.

I should know better!!! But yet again I went and read around on other threads and I just can't believe how rude some people are. I mean some people have been here almost as long as I have and only lost a couple pounds and they are trying to tell other people what is right and wrong. I would never do that and I have lost a good amount of weight. People come to this site for support not to be called stupid for trying something. It's not our right to tell people what is right or wrong it is our right to say hey your trying this good luck and as long as your not hurting yourself physically or mentally go for it. We have a lot of KNOW IT ALLS ON THIS BOARD!!! so so tired of it!

I'll tell you like I told Ms. Chick....oh, be careful little feet where you go-- we found a great group here-- enjoy and stay within the comfy confines of our little thread or two. Works like a charm for me.

Hey Andrew, baby fever must be going through because I just told dh I would love another baby!!

Of course with our 3rd having Rett Syndrome, I would never take that chance again. The docs all say it is random, blah, blah, blah, but no chance here for me. I don't think I have the energy for #4, I will have to use my 6 month old nephew to get my baby fix!

I venture out to the other threads hoping to find funny jokes or helpful info but a lot of the time, I just want to run back to the safety of our black team.

Tresa, Hope you are feeling better soon.

Andrew, Glad you made it back.

For those of the Black Team wanting more babies...Good Luck

For those who have stopped having babies...Enjoy the ones you have.

I indulge the baby whim with my grandson. He turned one in January and is the apple of his PapPap and Gramma's eyes. Only problem , he's in AZ. <sigh>

Its late and I'm tired. Good Night Black Team

Good night Bobbi and remember those sit-ups tomorrow, Miss Show-Off!

Sa, you have two girls, maybe that is what God wants for you, but I am hoping the next baby is the son you want.

On a side note, did we not have a Vanessa on the black team at one time? Did she leave or something?

I just realized the only piece of spandex I have is a sports bra....I think I'll need to find more b/c there ain't no way THAT'S happening! :embarassed:

Babies are great! You just need to figure out what your "good" number is. For us, it was 3. I am DONE at 3. Four would make me :drinker:...I mean... ...no wait.... well, it would probably make me :smooched: but I don't want to find out.

I was doing the couch to 5k program. Three weeks into it I developed a few problems so have taken a small break.

    1. Just ten minutes in I would get so dizzy I could barely stay on the treadmill.
    2. My knees. ARGH my knees (need to save some money and get proper runners).

Anyway, I figure I'll try again but outside this time. Maybe on proper pavement instead of treadmill I'll enjoy it more.

I just ran 0.6 miles on a treadmill! GO me! I forgot to look up the C25K program before I left so I decided to just run & see how far I could get. I set the incline at 4.0 & started on my merry way. I have to say I didn't enjoy it so much, but I did it! If I didn't do my hour session with the trainer before I hit the TM, I think I could have gone further. Perhaps I'll try again on Monday.

I got some serious Mommy guilt today, though. Micah was "aggressive" in the playroom, Zeke threw a fit when it was time to leave & I walked in to Tabitha screaming her bloody head off. They said she was tired. *eye roll*

Bobbi, nope not yet, I am so busy getting ready for 25 people to come to our house tonight for my ds 14th B-day. It is mostly family but still the house needs clean, dinner needs cooked and the cakes decorated. Then there is all the animals that need fed and all the other stuff. I will do them though and report to you!

Sarah, don't you hate it when you try to do something for yourself and it seems the world is against you. Hang in there! Maybe all the kids are tired, do I foresee naptime coming???

Okay since Bobbi has already reminded me, SAM, MARLA AND JANIE, fit the floor and crank those babies out! Or break them up in three or four sessions a day like I do!

Amanda-- that's my life....most of the time, when my heart is right, I realize that my purpose until my kids are grown is to "do and be" for them-- and I have no problems. Now and then, it begins to get on my nerves that I have no time to do anything for me. Worse these days since our financial situation is so crappy and I have to work so much. Bottom line, though, I need to get it right in my head and handle it better-- and the time for me will come in abundance some day.

Having said that, I did manage to eek in 15 minutes of running outside..... At 10pm, just before I typed for the night. I did two laps around the block, then pretended I was at football practice running backwards, doing those sideways thingies they do, all sorts of really funny looking stuff that was a real killer...pant pant. Also got my situps in-- at 1:30, I think-- life is what it is, or what I choose to make it, right? Mental note again to bear it graciously.

Hugs to my team-- heading to work.

Dave and I both feel better today. Harley has been having several messy diapers for a couple days. (Sorry if TMI.) I don't know if she got a stomach bug too. I've heard that babies get diaper rash because of all the extra drool from teething. She has a white spot on her bottom gums so I'm waiting for a tooth to pop soon.

I'm not working out outside today though because it's like 26 degress. That's too cold for me and definitely for Harley. It's supposed to get warmer later in the week though.

I tried to do 45 minutes on the elliptical. I got to 16 before Harley woke up and started screaming and crying. I'll try later when she goes down for a second nap.

Dang!! I keep forgetting those crunches... will have to pound them out tonight..

My DH is stranded at home with a child, so must finish up my work and get home before they drive each other nuts. Second day home for DD, and she is not sick enough to just rest, so it could get ugly.

Scheduled for Day 3 of Week 1 in Couch to 5K - called DH to see if we could go to the outdoor track at the rec center later this afternoon. Kids can play on the playset.. Sounds like a plan - yes?

Lori - glad you guys are feeling better - sounds like Harley might have a touch, although teething can do same.. hang in there.

Have a great day all.. janie
