    I am a Managed Care Coordinator at a hospital. Insurance contracting, patient compaints, credentialing basically a "never get to leave my desk" type of a job. :)

    I'm a Quality Assurance Manager (I know, I know, terribly boring) for a vet pathology lab. I spend most of my time telling people what they're doing wrong, so I bake a lot and bring goodies into the office to make up for it!

    Marine Biologist, but not the sexy work in the field with critters kind..

    I do endangered species work, making sure anything the federal government permits, funds, or carries out doesn't kill threatened or endangered whales, turtles, sturgeon, sawfish, coral, or seagrass - oh my.

    This is done sitting at a desk reading stuff and then writing stuff.

    Manufacturing Scientist for a bio pharmaceutical company by day. In the evenings and weekends I have a handmade invitation/paper crafting business...hoping one day to go full time with this one! :)

    I am an Air Force weapons instructor. At least its a job that keeps me away from food handling. I would be at least 50lbs heavier if I dealt with food all day (even frozen fish)

    I am an Office Manager and sit at a desk ALL Day - 8a - 4p...no lunch break so I can get home to my kids when they get off the bus!!!

    I am now a full time mummy to my girls. 8 months ago I worked in the food industry for 16 years as a Specifications Manager, covering a variety of food but fav 5 yrs was in desserts!! Yummy Marks & Spencer posh desserts

    I am still a student, but also work evenings for an alternative high school (night school) and I also make hand crafts for sale (mostly wool sculptures) :)

    Someday I hope for field work related to marine science - something like Karlaki perhaps! Though anything similar -- parks, zoos, research, gov't position, etc. -- would be fantastic!

    I am a Full time Quality Engineer at a Automotive supplier that supplies the OEMs (Chrysler, GM, etc...)

    I am also a part time college student making my quality engineering position official with a bachelor's degree. I finish this fall after 4 years at it part time....Woo hoo!
