It's tax season! How are you using your refund?

For those of us who get a refund.

for me, (and my boyfriend) we need a new chair because our chaise is literally falling apart. We found a recliner that will fit us both. This is necessary because we will fight over who gets to sit in it if it doesn't fit us both. I also want to cuddle ;)

We will also be getting a washer & dryer and a flat screen tv (we still have a 20-some inch old school TV.)

Welcome!

It's going right to the Vegas fund. I have some friends getting married in May at the little white chapel. So I'm planning on partying quite hard. I'll need bail and gambling money. Also, I may need to buy new clothes, I'm looking to be down another 30 pounds approx. by then.

A cheap new couch and a desk chair. [: Hopefully a bed frame if my refund is big enough.

Depending on how much we get this year (since we always split it down the middle) I am going to use mine to pay off some more on my bills/debt. I should be debt free by next year :)

What's a refund? Do you realize it was your money to begin with?

Refund? I get one of those? Ooooh. What COULD I do??? For starters, I probably should buy another pair of running pants. Then, I should put some money towards my credit card bill. After that, savings.

Not always. 50% of the people that get a refund don't even pay any taxes.

funny you should ask...I will be pay land and school taxes with it!! Doesn't sound like much fun!! If it wasn't for the 4 kids we have...we probably wouldn't get any!!

If there is any left over...we might buy a new TV for our bedroom...or take a short trip somewhere!!

and that being said, we're putting some in savings, paying off the rest of our credit card, and im paying off prek up until the end of the year so i don't have to worry about it anymore. Next year we'll be paying off my truck with it.

oh I've been there! that's why I am now spending it the past couple years to make my home nice, all I got when I moved out was this damn chair that I just mentioned, which is falling apart! Last year I bought a bed, new bedding, lamps, dresser, and bedside tables. I was sleeping on an air mattress.
