Why does it seem so many people on this site are so angry an

I myself like to see the light in everything. Find the beauty that no one else see's.
I am the same way! We should be friends.
Sometimes you have to dig deep, but it's there.0 -
I love how people say it is because you are hungry....are you eating?!?!!? I have had plenty to eat on this plan and the success is in eating to refuel your body and not starving to see big numbers. If you are eating less to see big numbers...be prepared to add a topic soon on plateauing. This is a lifestyle change and you can't starve yourself your whole life!!! Or maybe you just need to eat more protein. Either way...this plan does not starve you.
It was a joke...
But since you mentioned it... now that I am eating smaller meals every couple of hours, I find myself ravenous when it is time to eat.0 -
They are just hungry!0

I agree...Some people are down right hateful, but I have discovered the ignore user feature and LOVE IT! Typically it's the same people that are being nasty so I've just began ignoring them. It's wonderful!0

We are all hungry...
LOL! Exactly what I thought when I read the post. : ) But I have noticed there are some angry people. There are also some really great ones!0 -

Man, I was thinking that same thing last night. Someone asked a simple question about a weigh in. About three people read the post. Twenty people read part of the post and started slamming the asker and the folks that answered the question.
"I'm a ______ (fill in the blank with something that makes their opinion infallible). I think you are making a huge mistake. You SHOULD be exercising 30 times a day for 1 minute each and eating one continuous meal from 9 am to 4:15 pm. ...blah, blah, blah."
I have come to decide that because there are thousands on MFP, and the median IQ is 100, that there must be a lot of people on here with an IQ in the lower double digits. It further stands to reason that many of them don't know that their IQ is in the lower half of the population and therefore do not realize that the more they slam, the more stupid they appear. It's an epidemic. I'm a toolmaker/machinist. I should know.
Again...hilarious! : ) Love it!0 -
******* I have been on this site since 2008 and it started out great. What bothers me is that (I hope I don't offend people) the atmosphere here has changed. It's no longer constructive criticism at times it's down right rude and hurtful. I have seen it and tried to stay quiet about it. It's really bothersome. There is a way to get your point across with having some sort of heart for the person your saying it too. It shouldn't matter if someone CAN'T SPELL or use the BEST GRAMMAR. We are all here to support, motivate and obtain a goal not to beat each other down, that's what the outside world has been doing which is why people came here to begin with.0

Which is what I posted in my post about complaining that I know I am complaining. Thus it's a giant complaining circle of complaining that now you are complaining about so I will make another spot in the complaining circle so you complain with the rest of us complaining about the complaining.
Also for your quote.. A friends advice is always free and worth that of the stars on most topics.0 -
I'm dying!!! LMAO!!! :laugh:0 -
We are all hungry...
LOL you stole my answer!!!0 -
I still read the forums alot, but I rarely comment anymore due to a lot of peoples grumpy/snidey attitudes :frown:
Although everyone on my friends list are always supportive and positive . .even when I'm messing up :flowerforyou:0 -
Wait? What? I haven't seen any crabby people? Crabby people exist on here? No way? You must be imagining things........(insert sarcasm whenever youd like)0

Every body just needs to listen to a little Bob Marley...."Don't worry bout a thing...cause every little things gonna be alright!" And St. John's Wort should be put in the water!!! Happy Friday!!!0

So I get where you are coming from but what do you expect to happen when someone posts a question like "There is a thumping and humming in my cervix, what could it be" Seriously.....that is something someone should ask a doctor not MFP forums. That is not the only silly post I have seen.
I have pretty thick skin though and wake up everyday with the motto "NO ONE will rain on my parade" unless someone tries to mess with my kids I really don't care what anyone else does, thinks, says or types. Words or words typed on a forum only hurt you if you let it.0 -

If you are hungry you are doing it wrong!0 -
LOL to the hungry statement. I am not hungry at all and I am positive so if you want positive people around feel free to friend me!!! I don't like negativity at all. This is a lifestyle not a diet. If you are hungry then please eat more food. Too many people are not eating enough calories and putting their bodies into starvation mode. When your body is starving you get grumpy. Protein at every meal including snacks helps to fill you up and keep you from being hungry too!! So people please eat and embrace the new healthy you!! Its for life, the rest of your life, so make changes you can stick to and if you want a cookie have a cookie. No one eats perfect 100% of the time. No one is perfect. Try eating perfect 70% or 80% of the time for a start and go from there. Be happy!!! Life is too short to be negative!!! When life gives you lemons make lemonade!0

Whew! Thought I was the ONLY one that thought this! I've been on some topics where the potpourri of answers ranged from truly helpful to downright nasty. WHAT the WHAT???? Come on now...if someone is reaching out, help 'em if you don't want to, leave the topic. I don't comment much on anything anymore because even "friends" say some dumbazz shyt...yea I said it & deleted them posthaste...no room in my life for negative!
Thanks for posting this topic! & BOOYAH...enjoy the simple things in life0 -
It's not just this site. Read the comments of any article on the internet (that allows comments) People find it easy to be mean in their safe place behind their computer. Most would never treat people like this face to face. And there are the trolls. Ugh, the trolls.0

I dunno, but I've given up watching TV in the evenings, reading people getting all wound up about things that don't really matter to them anyway is much more entertaining!0

LIVE WITH THE THREE E'S OF LIFE ...ENERGY, ENTHUSIASM AND EMPATHY! .....AND every morning we should take a walk of gratitude. I call it a "thank you walk" It will create a fertile mind ready for success!!!!
Someone told me about this at the new yr and its really a good way to look at life everyday!0 -

Bravo! Very well said!0 -
so instead of us complaining about the complainers, I think we need a solution for all of the hatred spewing from the MFP forums.
I propose to offer the complainers / haters a virtual cookie to stuff their mouth with ( need to find a good pic of a cookie to post). I can't think of anything else at the moment, ideas are welcomed.0 -
