Shred in Feb

Anyone fancy doing JM's 30 day shred in February? I did it all the way through last March, at the beginning of my weight loss journey, and got great results. I did one of the workouts a couple of weeks ago and it was SO much harder than I remember! I reckon it's time to do it gain. Every day for 30 days, starting on Wednesday. Anyone with me?

I'll do it, but I have to find good alternatives for squats and lunges.0

Great! Have you done it before?0
-
I'm in too. I did level one a while ago, but switched to a different JM DVD for a while.0

I was just thinking about starting the 30 day shred. I've had the dvd forever and have never actually done it.0

I started it this month, but I've been alternating between it and spinning/zumba. My ortho surgeon told me to stay away from lunges and squats for now, so I haven't don't it in a few days.
My strength has increased so much already though! Before doing it, I couldn't do any push ups - not even the girly ones. Now I can do 30 real push ups!0 -
I will be getting mine in the mail on Thursday! I would love to do it!0

I'll do it, I always seem to quit after a week but I'm sooooo much more motivated now (:0

I have been wanting to start it for a while, so I am in!0

I'm in! I just started the DVD. I did day 1 and actually got charlie horses in my quads for 2 days so had to take a break for those 2 days. Did it again today for the second time and it seemed a tad easier so hopefully I'm broken in!0

I'm in! Just started it today and am already sore. I'm hoping by morning I'll be able to do it for day two.0

I am starting Tuesday! That way, the end of 30 days will be the end of February (as it is a leap year).0

I'm in! Ive heard several ppl talk about it. I will go buy it tuesday. Those that are going to do it add me as a friend so we can encourage one another!!0

I am in, just started today! Good luck to everyone!!0

A good way to an alternate for squats if you have knee problems or other lower joint problems is to use a swiss balll and put it in the middle of your back against a wall and sqaut. It helps you go down lower without the pain and it will work your lower half!

Yeah count me in....i sound reluctant because the 3 times previous I started I last 3 days then there is always a reason why I miss a day and then I stop it.....please kick my *kitten* if i slack off!0

Yes please!
I was planning to do it in february anyways but extra support sounds good to keep motivated (:
Maybe even make a group if needed?0 -
Glad there are so many brave souls out there! It'll be great to support each other as we progress.
I'm planning on doing each level for 10 days each, no rest days. How about you?0 -
I started this in January -did about ten days in little over two weeks and gave up.. Maybe it's time to start again0

That's why one shouldn't do gimmicky plans that have cute marketing terms in them...30, 60, 90... 10 minute this, that. It's marketing, not fitness and learning. It's also not realistic and really sets people up for emotional failure. What about after the 30 days? Then what? Do it again? Well that's 60 days! And if you could do it for only 30 days, you probably would've already did it, right!? I simply detest and hate the fitness industry in general. Stick around.
In any event. Time frames are bogus. Think 1 year, 2 years. The rest of your life. Not quick time frames. Anyone can lose weight doing the equivalent of what I used to do in college football practice....And who wants to do that 5 times a week? I don't. And if you're going to workout like an athlete your eating has to be that much more on point, and the smart never run a big deficit while doing strenuous work.0 -

i like ur point of view but also starting this n seeing results cud also be a jump start to continue with new & continued exercise 4 the rest of ur life.0 -
I am planning to do the same.0

Count me in, I'm a 32 yr old mother of two 4mth old and two yr old. They don't nap at same time
Yet:( trying figure out best time to fit it in. I tried the video once about 10 days ago and I completed the workout and it was hard but short:) the next three days I could hardly walk upstairs and carrying my kids was hard on the arms. So I know it works but I guess I went too hard for my first/last day. Sign me up and I will try it again0 -
What is this, a diet or just exercise? I haven't heard of it before.0
