    Goals today!
    1. Get rid of all the valentines candy in the house! (Tosssing not eating)
    2. Strength training with legs today
    3. organize my tracking sheets so i can post easier

    1) Figure out what I did right yesterday because my food log looked the best it has in a long, long, time. Try to do similar today, maybe even better???!

    2) Stay away from the diet coke, I had none yesterday and this may be the start of something good, keep it going, big water glass x 4

    3) Intervals are on the agenda today and will do my best although I am not feeling the greatest, I will still at least attempt them.

    Met all three!

    I think I will post goals for tomorrow 2/16/12, since it is so late in the day today:

    1) Continue to stay away from the diet coke, day 4 without and surprisingly feel pretty good. Aim for 4 large water glasses (32oz)
    2) Interval day again, but will add something else to get at least 400 calorie burn
    3) Keep rocking the food log, I am changing things up and loving it!

    1. Water- drank 10 glasses
    2. Swim at least 2000 yards- 2500 and doing more tomorrow
    3. Finish homework for one class- finished as much as I can and getting the last of the info for it tomorrow

    Goals for 2/16
    1. Drink 10 glasses of water
    2. Swim 2750 yards
    3. Finish homework for one class, start homework for another class
    4. Go to bed by 10:30

    1. Do my morning meditation. --No.
    2. 3 mile walk. --Yes.
    3. Healthy choices and portion control. --Yes for the choices, no to portion size.
    4. Water and tea. --Yes.

    I don't really know what happened yesterday--I started out really well and the day went well but then last night it kind of all unraveled!

    I'll have to watch the evening snacking.

    Goals for Feb. 16:
    1. Do my morning meditation.
    2. 2 mile walk.
    3. Healthy choices and portion control.
    4. No snacks after 8pm.

    1. Go to RPM with my friend over lunch (don't ditch for the elliptical)

    3. Work to get that extra vegetable in during the day.

    1. Take my son's letterman jacket in to be decorated
    2. stay at calorie goal
    3. burn at least 1000 calories

    Not only did I complete all 3 of these goals but I turned in my recycles & put my donations to the curb!! Yesterday was a very accomplished day!!

    Goals for Today are:
    1. stay on top of laundry
    2. burn 1000 calories or be happy with a lower amount
    3. go do some decent grocery shopping

    I wish my fellow challengers a spectacular Thursday!! I'm proud of you!

    My name is Caitlyn and I just want to stop bad habbits and start good ones before its a serious problem.
    Obesity is a problem on both sides of my family and diabetes on my mothers side. My parents are trying to do a diet and my mom is really committed. I am in my first year of college and have gained the 'freshman 15' and have seen myself growing sedentary. I really just want to get fit and stay fit and healthy. I have horrible discipline but came across myfitesspal on the internet and really think it can help me. I love the way this forum is set up. Daily goals are something i never really thought of but think its a great idea!
    Goals for today: 30 minute walk/jog
    30 minute toning excersize
    have only 1200 calories
    clean my room
    do my laundry
    here goes nothing!

    Tuesday, February 14th
    1. Water (10-12)
    2. Stay near calories +/- 100
    3. Try to get in 20 minutes of cardio today.
    4. 90 punches today!

    Obviously missed a few days. Oops! Still been getting in water some days harder than others! Doing okay with calories. Don't remember if I got in extras or not. I do wear my HRM all day and try to keep my calories burned to 100 per hour during work. Some days that is easy and other days I have to work at it. Spring is coming and I will probably have to reset my activity level for a while just because I run like the energizer bunny all day. Anyway!

    Friday, February 17
    1. Water (10-12)
    2. Burn an extra 300 calories today
    3. Keep eating fairly clean
    4. Wash face before bed. (BTW- so far only missed one night :) fell asleep in recliner.

    3. Burn 500 calories
    4. Do laundry
    5. Start reading book for book club
    6. Take DS to park and run around with him.

    I did better yesterday but I do MUCH better every day when I make sure to do my morning meditation. I did it already this morning and I want to try to get that done every morning first thing. That's not always possible but most days it is.

    2. 2 mile walk and 15 minute abs.
    3. Healthy choices and portion control.
    4. No snacks after 9pm. (Its Friday)

    I have struggled with weight most of my life. My emotional gauge is general health - defined by weight, skin health, breath and tiredness. I am nearing 30, in one year. It is hard to believe I'll be fare-welling my 20's so soon. But what is age?

    Enough diverging... I am here to befriend some strong people who are here to be healthy and would like to work through the journey together.

    My aim by my 30th birthday; form healthy habits; reach my goal weight; integrate fitness into daily routine; cease emotional eating; obtain work in my field and; obtain a life partner.

    2. Attend 90 minute Yoga
    3. Remain within daily calorie intake.

    2. Ok, I let myself have 5 hersey kisses from the giant bag someone brought...but I logged all of them!
    3. Done! And it definitely made me eat less because I couldn't say "this is a few bites, don't need to log it"

    Goals for tomorrow, 2/18

    1. Have a glass of water with every meal.
    2. Don't stress about calories, but don't binge when going out tomorrow night with friends.
    3. Wake up early to get a little exercise in.

    Good morning everyone!

    Last week was pretty rough, traveling to the office all week for training, lugging computer equiptment back and forth every day and finishing my work nights later than the norm. i saw my personal trainer and he was pleased with my results. I had lost 1/2 lb on the scale.... but better news, I lost 2 1/2 lbs of fat and gained 2 lbs of lean mass. My scale at home shows my weight a little lower and that is the scale I am using to record my results. I must prefer my 5 am weight to my afternoon weight.

    Anyway, my meal plans got tweeked because I will be traveling to Ohio for work for part of the week, so I am testing out my travel menu today. I picked up a protein drink shaker mug, I know it is not going to be the same as using my blender, but if it is tolerable, I can deal with it for a few days.

    My goals for today

    do laundry
    find clothes that look business like and fit me nice for travel in my closet (at this point I will be happy to see what fits)
    pack my suitcase
    register for my flight
    to not stress out.... I really am not looking forward to this trip this year.

    Study Sunday School Lesson
    Get the cabinet under the sink cleaned out and the new bowls put in it

    I love this idea! I'm a wife and mother of three children. I've just started to realize that I need to start taking care of myself. I lost 20 lbs in 2011 but am really at a staand still now. I have decided to take a more active approach to posting and not just read everyone's posts but start to do more "talking" here too. My goal for today is to stay within my calorie goal and get at least 30 min of exercise in. Good Luck everyone!
