    I second the endorsement of Stevia. It's natural and you can get it at Trader Joes. Zero calories. No mysterious laboratory chemicals. I think it tastes great, though my wife disagrees. I use it in my daily coffee guilt-free...

    I used to put three tsp of sugar and a cream in each cup of coffee. I drink alot of coffee. Realizing I needed to cut out the sugar, I started having a black cup of coffee with a Hershey Kiss. I got my sugar fix, and learned to drink my coffee black. Now I would'nt go back.

    Xylitol test done

    Does not dissolve well in iced tea and was very grainy - Did not like that at all!

    In hot coffee it was good but took twice as much to get the sweetness that I get with Saccharin (Sweet N Low)

    If available I can see myself using it in coffee but it will not replace saccharin for me.
