Tried this. DISGUSTING. It might depend on your protein powder, but I would not recommend wasting all the ingredients to make these.

Hmmmm, maybe. I just tried it and it was great. Not what I expected but still nice - a lot of ice crystals so kind of like a chocolate peanut sorbet. Melted very fast so had to eat it quickly (what a shame!)

  • They are frozen. The texture is like eating a peanut butter cup that is frozen....ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS...Made a batch ..put in freezer, they keep for about 1 week.

Thanks for sharing...I will try these out.
  • Ooh, these sound like a wonderful way to get more protein in and satisfy a craving for sweets at the same time. Love PB & choc!! Thanks!

I think this was just a test to see who did and didn't ask how many calories were in them!

    You know who you are!

I doubled the recipe and replaced the peanut butter with hazelnut butter.

Ended up with 12 portions about the size of a Reese's pieces (made them in parchemin baking cups, worked out fine).

28.3 cal/portion (should be about the same with peanut butter).

    I think they are great!
