Same sentiments. I have such low tolerance for pain and suffering (thats why Im a bit heavy because I hate exercise) but I survived my tattoo session. It's a 2-inch Eiffel Tower resting on my spine 6 inches below my collar line, and it is very detailed, with all the crisscrossing beams and trusses of the tower. I thought I was gonna pass out during the first few minutes but the tattoo parlor was really professional. They gave me a bottle of beer to numb the pain a little bit, and after a while it felt really soothing. I almost fell asleep halfway through. Don't worry. You'll live.

Amazon woman was done when I was 17 and the Tiger Lily's are because I didn't want my daughters name scrawled everywhere so did it subtly (She's called Lilly and born in chinese year of Tiger)

I have 5...no pics though! :-(
1. Tribal and monarch butterfly on my lower back
2. Flower on the top of my foot with vines that wrap all the way around my foot and has my moms, dads and brothers initials in the vinework. Vine comes around to the inside of my ankle where a tree frog sits on the vine
3. Butterfly on my ankle with "2002" hidden in the design of the wings (all the girls I went on Spring Break 2002 got the same design)
4. My upper back is a Chevy bowtie filled in with a checkered flag pattern and beautiful flowers all around the oustide to make it girly
5. Swallow on my upper thigh with a red, white and blue star to represent freedom and a celtic love knot to represent enternal love.

I can't wait for a new one. I love all of mine and love that they are in inconspicuous places since I work in a professional environment!

hope that worked... this was my first ever tattoo done in a single 5 hour stint on my birthday. i took in a photo and the girl free handed it onto my back adding her own flair. I absolutely love it!!

For my next one im getting a decorative dove on the inside of my wrist for my little boy Jonah.

Id also like a quote on my thigh but havnt narowed them down yet

I have a butterfly on my tailbone that I got on a mountain top somewhere between Arizona and Colorado. After I graduated high school 3 friends and I jumped in an SUV and took to the road!
I also have a bar vine heart on my right shoulder blade that I got a couple of years ago. A friend of mine was getting ready to go through her 2nd divorce at the age of 23 and felt the need to be wild so I was wild with her!

I have 2 tattoos but this one is my favorite. I got it while i was in Tokyo and it was done in the old fashioned Tebori method. All of the color and fill were done by hand (no motor/gun) with a stainless steel needle brush with an ebony handle. It was a great experience!

Love this ^^ I took a pic in my fathers garden of a beautiful lily of almost the same color. Sadly, my phone crashed and I lost it. One my weight is down, I'd like a tat with the same flower, with more swirlies and stuff.
