Thank you. Your before and after pics here were EXACTLY what I needed today to stay motivated. Just know that today you have definately helped motivate another mom who's fighting the weightloss battle.0

Bumping this thread so I can post my results when Im closer to my goal And to reflect on when Im feeling discouraged.0

Everyone looks so great! I had my boys by c-section (3 in 4.5 years) and have felt really hopeless about my chances for a normal tummy again. I only have about 10 pounds left to lose but lots of exercise to do. Are there any exercises you inspirational ladies would recommend for that abdominal area?0

But here's a summary:
this is an awesome example of why people shouldn't let this journey be ruled by a number on a scale. awesome job!0 -
I've lost a few more pounds since this photo was taken, I'm soooo close to my goal!!0 -
Before (at about 160 lbs)
After at 125 lbs
In dress sizes, the top one is a UK 12, US 8, the bottom is a UK 6-8, US 2 ish0 -
Still have 25 lbs to go, but I'm VERY happy with my progress. I've got 2 kids, 6 and 10, I've had 10 years of broken bones, surgerys, miscarriages and various other things that I used as excuses to be fat. Last January I said enough was enough...This is where that attitude has gotten me. Can't wait to post my final picture
this was the start at 214 lbs
at 183
at 170
my back right now at 166

The thing that I've been seeing most of is that the abdominal area is usually where we store carbs/starches, so first thing..cut back on those if you can..
crunches and planks(all sorts of them on youtube!) would help strengthen your core!0 -
oohh I love this thread idea.. I have to set up my pics and I will try and post later. All you ladies/Moms are doing fantastic. Keep it up!! Very inspirational :flowerforyou:0

This was me at my heaviest (nonpregnancy) weight. March 2010, around 223lbs.
This was Jan 2011 @ 17wks pregnant. I was around 210ish here? I'm thinking.
And this was Jan 2012 at 188lbs.
Still a long way to go. My short term GW is 165 by my daughter's first birthday (July 13th). I would like to be 140 by the end of the year.0 -

This was last december at about 180lbs 5'7", but my highest was 184 in nov. I have a 5year old and 3 year old:)
This was last may around 155, though I got down to 148 (cursing myself for not taking any pics at that awesome weight!) by June when I found out I'm expecting again!
It took me 6 months it took to lose 32lbs. I am currently 7 months pregnant again and I'm confident I can lose this baby weight again! I never want to look like that top pic again! I was one of those people who thought I could never do it and that I just didn't have the willpower. But I really think anybody can do it if I can, cliche I know Good luck to all the mommas needing inspiration! These threads are great for that!0 -
