Diet Tribe - 30 Pounds in 90 Days!

I have only started dieting about 1 week now.
I haven't had any issues with sticking with the low calorie diet I'm on.
I started working out. 20 minutes treadmill and then 20 minutes on the bike at work. ( I only get 1 hour for lunch and I have to shower, so I can't do more than that, unfortunetly)
So, I have started taking some classes at night too.
I am doing Zumba (very high impact Zumba!) on Thursday nights and Cardio Kickboxing on Tuesday nights. I like taking the time at night for myself and going to these classes. I am thinking about uping that and doing a class every night.
My hope is that I will see a larger drop in the weight. ( I lost 5 pounds this first week)
I know as I am writing this that it sounds to aggressive. But I am on a very tight time frame and I really want to do all I can while I am still very very motivated.
Does that sound crazy??:huh:
I don't thing it sounds crazy but just be careful not to over do it. Google "HIITT" and read about it, you want a cardio workout that is going to burn calories after you've worked out not just while you are working out. Also maybe limiting your carbs just a little can help get you results faster and drinking lots of water.

I am really excited because tomorrow is my weigh in! I know I didnt reach the 15 pound goal but I started a new life change. Which is better than winning any amount of money.
I feel so much better and healthier! I cant beleive I was soooo big....I still have long way to go but I now have the motivation to get there.

I was VERY lucky to lose weight this week...I don't know why I've had such a hard time watching my calories this week! But the weight loss is slowing down so I have got to get back to it.

Great week! I am loving the South Beach Diet. I did have slip ups over the weekend, but I still lost 4 pounds. Low Carb diets and working out seem to work beter for me than watching calories and exercise.

I hope everyone had a wonderful mothers day! I did....I gave in this weekend and ate..and ate..and ate. I weighed myself Saturday morning and was down to 181lbs but all that eating made me gain that 1lb. Thats ok I still managed to loose 2lbs. HORRAY!

Only down 1 this week...but I've been good about exercise and eating so I'm going to agree with Brandiann- I must be building muscle... I even stayed within my calories yesterday going out for a Mother's Day Brunch.

Hey everyone! Well, I stepped on the scale and was SUPER depressed... I only lost a pound this week! But everyone at home keeps telling me how much weight I've lost, and I've been working out at the gym 3 days a week for the past 2 weeks... so I decided to try on some pants that have been sitting in my closet forever... and surprise, they all fit! A size 8/9 is a little snug, especially in the tummy, but it is a huge improvement from the last time I tried them on. To give you an idea, I was wearing a size 16 this time last year, and a size 12 a month ago. I'm also noticing my tummy getting flatter, and my double chin's gone! So I'll take my one pound and be happy :laugh: I'm assuming some of this might even be muscle gain as well, because I've noticed my calves and thighs are getting firm...

TOM still! retaining water BIG time! Worked out today though 647 calories. Weighed myself 198, Iv'e gained 4 pounds. My grandmother suggested water pills for TOM, we'll see if this works for next week's weigh in.0

I didn't check in yesterday as I went for my yearly physical and doctor told me that at 37 years old, I was entering menopause. Oh yeah.... But after the Not so good news, he weighed me and....

I guess its not so bad. I quit smoking almost two months ago and I'm losing weight, instead of gaining. It's a good thing.0 -
So I just have to say that I have been working out everyday for the past 2 weeks and been doing my ab work outs, legs and arms!! I have gotten down from 145 pounds to 132 pounds so far yay!!!! I have my days like today that my fiance wanted to make cheeseburgers and fries for dinner..... but I have been doing so well thru-out the week that it really doesnt effect me besides feeling guilty afterwards.
I would like to be a toned 130 by July 4th my 28th ..... I hope I can make it there.. I still have some jigglys! as I like/dont like to call it!
