Hmmm, I just use the Hungry Jack "just add water" kind and they are only 50 calories a piece. The kicker is the syrup, not the cakes.

I'm just saying, those are some tiny-*kitten* pancakes if 3/4 c of flour makes 17.

I just entered the recipe with a variation of ingredients...to reduce sodium content:

3/4 cup whole wheat cake flour
    3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp low sodium baking powder
    1/2 cup liquid egg whites

This entire mix is 144 calories, so I just consider it a single serving mix, and will eat it all! I'll try it soon and report back. Seems like a lot of liquid, just glancing.

I made these using unsweetened almond milk which makes them even less calories. Thanks for the idea. I have mine with sugar free syrup!

Unless you like salt with a side of pancake, I would seriously reduce the amount of salt you add. Tried to make some this morning and ended up feeding it to the dogs. I would also add splenda or some kind of sweetener.

Would this work with unsweetened almond milk instead of skim milk?
