    I only get that from the MFPals I'm pretty close to. We also sometimes say "love ya!" to each other. I'm okay with it because it's all true! :)

    But I have a very very flirty personality in a harmless way. I can get away with saying "Hey baby, wanna go in the back room so I can do a big session of show and tell?" in front of their husbands. Its just about personality and how you say it

    I don't mind if I know the person otherwise it seems a little cheesy. I don't know about cupcake or extra fluffy nicknames... But I can do the basics. Not so sure about "love" . From a woman no big deal but I would need the guy to do it first or I might risk it being misinterpreted...

    The favorite amongst my girlfriends is hooker. lol

    hahah that is actually what my bestfriend calls me and shes cumlicker. they're the most endearing terms for us.

    I like them. It makes me feel special. Probably because I use them too as endearing terms. I feel like my feelings are mirrored when someone calls me something sweet. :-)

    If they're respectful and dignified about it, it doesn't bother me. I'm a grown woman, and don't allow obscene gestures made to me, and if I am called that, I ignore it.

    When used by the friends I'm closest to, I like them. I use terms like that for many of my friends.

    I dunno... I tend to think it sounds sarcastic. Maybe it's just the brash new york culture, but you don't call someone 'sweetheart' or 'honey' in a nice way, it's almost always said with bite.

    You should move south of the Mason Dixon line sweetheart.....down here, when we say it, we mean it... ;-)
