I had haggis in Edinburgh. And in Beijing- I had ostrich in a hot pot restaurant, and chicken stomach in a wing place.

    Haggis.
Oh, and some clear beverage that looked like a lava lamp with this gross and viscuous yellow substance that was supposed to represent the lava; it was disgusting.

An acorn. In first grade. Wondered why squirrels like them so much. Then a boy dared me too and I did. It was VERY bitter!!

Smashed up grape tomatoes in a large glass of ice cold buttermilk, with a pinch of salt. I started doing that in my first trimester when I was pregnant with my son in 2002 (craving lol)......but I never got over it. To this day I can eat this until my stomach rots......which probably wouldn't take very long.

I don't think I've eaten any REALLY strange things, but some unusual ones are

    Fruitbat
    Crocodile
    Emu
Kangaroo (though that's very mainstream in Australia now)
    Goat
    Eel
    Octopus
    Fish Eyes
    Pickled Herring
    Chicken Feet

Offal and insects are not my thing, other than that I'll give just about anything a go.
