Another dog related one... There's a local rescue called "Save a Shepherd" and it always always ALWAYS comes out "SHAVE a Shepherd."
  • When I am tired or nervous my speech impairment comes out and my Rs turn to Ws, but abominable, that word is torture, and I just me sayign it wrong will make others trying to correct me say it wrong.
  • I'm Canadian and I guess I say dawler for dollar, how do you guys say it?

I have no idea. xD I say dawler as well. And I'm from Southern Florida. :3

    Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. :noway:

Can you believe I ran into this word TWICE (!) in the last year.

And by the way, it's the fear of long words.

I used to say "supposively" but then finally found out it's "supposedly" and my boyfriend says "supposibly" and now that drives me nuts lol. It also bugs me when he says "Minds well" instead of "might as well" he's southern though maybe thats why?

Anyway, a word I can never seem to get right is Worcestshire if i even spelled it right lol

There are a lot of words on this thread that I don't even know much less have the ability to pronounce.

    button...
I blame this on my mother. She thought it was cute and never corrected me. I say "buddin" unless I stop think about the word and how it looks.

She also thought it was HILARIOUS that she taught me to say can opener as "cuhnAWpener" (canopener) I didn't figure that one out until middle school... I guess it's just not a word that comes up very often.

Had it not been for my grandmother's damage control I would have been a whole lot worse.

Not a word, but a name: Ahmadinejad. Takes me five or six tries, unless I'm reading it.
