well today started off pretty depressing. but i am feeling a little better about things now. and i'm about to go on a walk with my mom, however, there is MORE rain coming... :grumble:

I hope everyone is having a good day. I just got back from a 4.3 mile walk! I haven't walked that much at one time since...never! lol. I am beat! but I feel good about it. I'm actually looking forward to another one!
Don't forget, we have a weigh-in tomorrow! That is, assuming hurleycutie comes back....I hope so!0 -
Ah, it's nice to be back home! We surprised my mother in law for mother's day weekend, and my hubby is still out of town for business. He'll be back tomorrow. In the meantime, I need to get another workout in tonight! I went over in my calories every day this weekend! :blushing: Plus (being the crazy girl that I am), my feelings were hurt a little that no one commented on my weight loss since they last saw me in December. I'm not really too sad about it, but I've been feeling pretty okay about myself lately, so I just thought everyone would notice! Ah well. I'll just have to wow them when I see them later this summer...
My weigh in tomorrow is probably not going to be great either. For the millionth time, just gotta say "I'll keep trying and do better next week!"

I went over my calories AGAIN today (I did yesterday too). :ohwell: But today has been an absolutely awful week for me so I will hopefully forgive myself and just work really hard at this next week. Today someone at work (a real jerk) goes, "Um, did you gain weight?". I mean, I shouldn't say he's a jerk. But he really does not watch what he says. He says things like this all the time. I just shook it off, but then I went home and ate a big chocolate chip cookie (which I'm not supposed to eat to begin with, so apparently it bothered me a little). Oh well. I'll show him!
I hope everyone is doing well. I still need to go chug two more glasses of water. I do hope she comes back for the weigh-in.

I finished a great book this weekend. Some of you may have already heard of the Amazing Adventures of Diet Girl blog. It's been around for about 8 years, apparently. They recently published a book of Shauna (the author's) blog posts. She started at 350 and her goal was to reach a BMI of "healthy" (165 lbs).
I'm not dealing with that level of weight gain or loss, but it was still easy to connect with a lot of the things she said about eating and her relationship with food. Plus, she's Australian and HILARIOUS!
Anyway, the book is called The Amazing Adventures of Dietgirl. I highly recommend it. She has a lot of great advice, and she goes through a lot of the challenges most people who are trying to lose any amount of weight deal with. Here's her blog, too. If you're going strictly blog, I really think you should read the archives starting from day 1!!! :drinker:

damn i havent been on in 2 days... i havent read all the posts but i will
welcome AmyNVegas to the team... ill add u to the list when i get home...
i have had a long weekend... and i have a lot to say but i have to go to my boyfriends mothers house0 -
okay i think im caught up on the posts... so this is my weekend
friday i went out with a bunch of my friends to the casino... which was extra fun i won 6 dollars lol
then saturday my dad invited me to his firefighter pancake breakfast... which i was pretty proud of myself for not eating any.. even though thats all they had... i just sat there drinking my bottle water and drooling...
then after that my dad gave me a surprise tickets to the dodger game which i was super excited cause it was within the next hour... so me and my boyfriend went but i was extra hungry at the game... so the only option was eating a hot dog which my pills did not like very much... i was watching my step lol...
then today was pretty busy went shopping and then to my boyfriends families house...didnt eat very good but i drank a bunch of water...
my weightloss isnt going to be the best this weekend...
o well tomorrow is another day...
o just to let everyone know as of 12 am tonight this chat will be closed and red team week 2 will be open... so go to that board and ill get ur new weights... and to make my life easier can u please message them to me so it can be easier... thanks!
