Hey... If they worked hard enough, and are confident enough, more power to them. If I had the guts, maybe I would do it too. Maybe not with most of my boobs hanging that far out. :embarassed: Makes me wonder why woman do that. Is it to show achievement? Or is it a inner need for constant attention? I think it also depends on whos showing, how much is showing, and for what inner reason. Now if it was for a million dollars. Ok I'd do it.. Haaaah. Show me the $. Oh no.... I don't see no problem in showing off in a weight loss forum. We all work hard to get where we are, from where we came from. I actually enjoy seeing tummy photo's even those who don't have a perfect after/in progress photo. Who care's no such thing really as a perfect body, my description of a perfect body might not be yours. 6 months ago I didn't think I'd ever have the balls to wear a short dress and take a photo of it and put it online, but I did. 6 months ago I never thought I'd ever take a photo of my bear belly, but I have. Nope it is no where near perfect, but it's come a long ways and I'm proud of it. If someone don't like it, I say don't look at it.

In short, Thin, muscular, over weight, obese, if you have worked hard to get where you are from where you came from, be proud and show it!

I think girls who post pictures half naked or completely naked with class and tact are to be commended. Showing off your progress shouldn't be shameful.
Parading around like a hooker is something totally different. (Not that I'm judging hookers.)

I am judging the doctor who gave the girl in that first pic her fun bags. He did a piss poor job. She should get her money back, and some new bewbs.

Speak for yourself. I've seen more than a few pics of bigger guys and gals and I've always seen them being encouraged, supported and praised. Even myself. That's what's great about MFP. Big or small we're all here to encourage one another to feel good about ourselves and work towards our goals.

When someone starts saying "girls should cover up and only post pics of blah blah blah" that all gets shot to *kitten*.

If you find a body pic on a weight loss forum offensive then you got a problem, honestly people here are shedding weight and of course want to show off their bodies. I mean i don't wanna see a whole blown naked body on here but don't see any of those so why complain

Why I have it up:
1) It displays the progress I've made (not bad for someone who used to weigh nearly 300 pounds, right?)
2) It helps me build confidence, which I am sorely lacking in.
