I like food with a bit of a kick but not hot that it burns my mouth!!0 -
focus on eating healthy to fuel your body. You probably wont lose 23lbs in 6 weeks, but i suppose its possible.
The point is, there is no magic secret. Eat well, exercise, and take care of yourself. You will lose the extra pounds at a slower, healthy rate..
Enjoy your trip to spain!0 -
If you have 100+ pounds to lose all together, you could probably lose 28 pounds in six weeks, but if all you have to lose is 28 pounds altogether, pretty much the only way you're going to lose over 4 pounds a week is by not eating at all. I myself prefer to eat, so good luck with that0

Tell us more about this Chicken Salad Diet, please...0

You may not lose 28lbs but you can always try replacing a meal with a shake?0

Thanks tabi26 - I do have more to loss but i would be happy with just the 28 pounds before the hen do - little steps and all that!! x0 -
28lbs in 6 weeks. I think you need to rethink this goal.0

Stick to lean proteins and all vegetables (no fruits). Drink plenty of water. Exercise like a fiend. Even then, you may not be able to make it. Make sure you eat at least 1000 calories a day. High fiber, high protein. Salad with chicken, salad with lean pork, salad with shrimp, etc. Mix it up a little with some cinnamon oatmeal made with skim milk. Stir-fry with limited oil. Most of the salad veggies also go well in stir fry, but as a warm meal instead of cold.0

That's 4lbs per week. Not going to happen, at least not in a healthy manner.
Start by setting some more realistic goals.0 -
To lose 28 pounds in 6 weeks, you'll need a time turner and to have started about 22 weeks ago.
28 pounds in 6 months is a much more realistic goal.0 -
Hi, have you tried the Atkins program.. My friend wanted to lose 80 pounds and she tried the Atkins..She lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks with the Induction phase and she remained on this phase for a month for a total of 25 pounds lost.. Visit their website and read about the induction phase. I plan to start this program next week. Good Luck!!0

Eat 1200 cal low carb.
Do 45 - 60 min of pretty intense cardio everyday.
After a 3 or 4 days you should be able to start burning muscle to provide the glucose needed for that cardio.
Since muscle only has 600 cal worth of energy to make about 500 cal of glucose, you'll be able to lose pounds pretty good.
You'll still burn fat, but since fat has 3500 cal per lb, takes a lot longer to lose that.
Since muscle also holds the largest part of glucose stores, by burning that muscle off, even less glucose available in case you binge or skip a workout, so this should accelerate the weight/muscle loss as you get closer.
You'll be nice and thin and flabby in the end!0 -
okay here's the thing. You need to eat cat food, and ONLY cat food for the next 6 weeks. Seriously, have you ever seen an obese cat?
I eat so much cat food that I'm starting to think like a cat
I HAVE!! My next door neighbor has a fat $!@ cat!!!!!!0 -

IF someone is part of my group(you know who you are) and recommends the program. You will be removed from the group.
...welcome to Fight Club. The first rule of Fight Club is: You do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is: You do NOT talk about Fight Club.

Set realistic goals -- otherwise you set yourself up to loose.
I would recommend the DUKAN DIET0 -
Just so you know - fat in foods doesnt directly equal fat on your body. You need to eat fat for your cells to repair and for you to have shiny hair and nails, and to feel fuller. So instead of focusing on what is low fat - concentrate on what has nutrition, high in protein and generally lower in calories.
Dinners such as salmon, chicken breast and grilled lean meats with vegetables - (sweet potato mash, butternut squash and greens are good - and my favourites)
The best 'diet' will always be the one which you can stick to for the longest.
Your expectations are unrealistic, you will lose weight but not at that rate so don't set yourself up for dissapointment as that yo-yo dieting will be horrible for your body.0 -
I would say to workout and burn at least 600-700 calories a day and only eat 1200 calories. The key it to exercise and burn as many calories as possible. The thing about quick weight loss is it's a quick fix then you go back to reality. You have to eat to be healthy so I would burn the calories you eat!!! Good luck0

Quinoa. High in protien and high in amino acids0

You will gain it right back after you stop the diet..you need to change your lifestyle..eat healthy...trust me these shakes are great for breakfast but not for your entire meal plan!0 -

Sry, it was too hard to resist. :-)0 -
that was all so interesting lol
Eat healthy: Fruit, vegetables, high fiber, low fat/no fat yogurt, egg whites, low calorie bread/or no bread, try some chia seeds they fill you up and high in fiber www.getchia.com, high fiber cereal, limit fats and sugar, look up healthy meals there are so many recipes and ideas on the web.
:drinker: Good luck and enjoy Spain!!!0 -

Sensible suggestions please!
Sensible questions please!
I think there are a lot of obese *kitten*. *kitten* will eat a lot, and then go out and kill additional food. If you are interested, try the paleo diet. I think that one involves going out and killing your own game. That way you will get a work out and nutrients.0
