    I'll go ahead & date myself here too, but mine was LOVERBOY...you know the one - with the *kitten* covered in red leather on the cover!! I bought while I was on vacay in TX at my aunt's house & I thought she was going to have a stroke when she saw that!! I believe I was about 10 or 11 at the time.

    I was alowed to buy two, I got a Beatles Albumn "Beatles for Sale" and Simon and Garfunkel's Greatest Hits.

    I was young and had gotten my first stero for christmas.

    i never bought albums i would just steal my father and sister's #earlypirating. The first one i did was Jay-Z Blueprint ironically on 9/11...even in the panic i managed to leave school go to downtown Boston and buy an album

    I grew up during the CD era, so my first CD was Michael Jackson's Invincible.. I remember being so proud of having the red cover vs the other covers (white/green/blue iirc)

    Still love that CD, and it was the stepping stone to me becoming a huge MJ fan :)

    My Dad had a 8 track player. Wore it out listening to Ted Nugent and Conway Twitty. Now that is diversity. :)
