chicken thighs baked over a bed of brown rice (the rice has onions and mushrooms and garlic and I used chicken broth as my liquid). Takes forever to cook, between 2 and 3 hours, but makes the house smell soooo good. Broccoli and cauliflower on the side.0

I do have a question tho, and didn't want to start another thread.
Since I have been watching my calorie intake and working out double-time, P90X & sweaty walk/runs & weight training. . . .. I want to enjoy some wine again in the evenings . . . .
Do I dare? I am battling my controlling conscience right now. Whatcha think?

Hey you just lived down the road from me. I live in Mesquite,, Texas Boy has Forney grown. We go to your Walmart quite a bit. My brother and his wife lives just down the road from Walmart. Good luck on geting your baby fat off.. I am trying to get my Great Grandkids weight off. HaHa. See you around on the forum .

Chicaloca , you can do it . I hope you are not eating chocolate. I loved seeing what other people are eating. I am on a low carb diet and I just have 3 oz protein, 1/2 c veggie, 1/2 c of fresh fruit or canned fruit if I run out of fresh. For every meal. I have just boil me 1/2 doz/ eggs to have on hand for salads. or snacks

I cook alot of chicken breast, grilled chicken is my favorite. Most people are having pork chops and it's convincing me that I need some too :laugh:
We always have a veggie or two and usually salad... luckily my kids love both of those options!0 -
