    When you take naked photos you must assume that they will be made public. Eventually. Either accept this or don't take naked photos.

    What would I do? Respond in kind.

    How should they be punished? See above.

    I have an ex. We are on very bad terms. We have compromising photos and video and the like of each other. Since we both have them, it's just like the peace that was kept during the Cold War: Mutual Assured Destruction.

    OMG i love this. Everyone should be so smart to each get a copy for just this reason!

    Doesn't matter how you dress them, what kind of job they have, house, $$, family etc...a white trash douche will always be just that...trash.

    Does that make you trash for allowing the pics to be taken in the first place? When you're in a relationship (however you want to define that) and it's not just a booty call? Absolutely not. There's an element of trust involved. If the person betrays that trust its them that has to live with it. I hope they feel really friggin good about themselves.

    Every txt, email, forum post, digital pic is out there for good. Its a risk that is taken. It will come back to bite you in the *kitten* eventually when you're dealing with a *kitten*.

    Live and learn and hope you can trust another person again.

    And i agree with keeping faces out of pics. I do this myself....but it doesn't make that "omg i'm gonna puke" feeling any better when you find out.

    Don't send nude pictures if you don't want anyone to see them,
    Doesn't matter that you love him or her now. Doesn't matter if you think they're the one. When people are mad or sad, they will do things that are wrong if they are pushed to their limit. The person might even share them around while you're still dating, to prove what kind of a guy or girl they're with. With our digital age, things get around fast.

    Simple answer - don't do it.

    i truly believe, as i sit here and think about it, that I would shutter in complete embarrasment and find myself digging a hole to live in the rest of my life. I'm not sure what I would do if the event was reality. :ohwell:

    I'm sure there's an 8mm of me, Becky and Karen out there somewhere. From the 70's. Probably a few Polaroids from a lost weekend with some random gal at someone's vacation home in Palm springs from back in the early 80's.

    I'm sure I'd never want my daughters to see them, however, those days were not like these days. No chance they were going to be tweeted, sexted, texted, posted on FB or MySpace. There was no such thing. It was decades ago and I'm sure no one would even know it was me. Well, maybe my wife.

    The point is -- In this obsessed Internet world, if you take a pic and share it with even one person, you can be sure it can make it to a computer near you. But, in this reality Television driven new world, that's great, right? Fame, at any cost?

    Keep in mind that saying something negative about someone in a public place (that could have negative consequences for that person, ie that he has an STD) when it is not true is against the law. You can be sued for it (or even arrested, if the negative consequences are dire enough).

    If it's one thing I've realized, you don't really *know* a person until the relationship ends. I know that it's not very comforting, but the only thing you can do is make sure not to do it again in the future.

    I just operate under the assumption that anything I do or say over email, text, SMS, forum, and skype can and will be used against me at some point. I didn't really want a political career anyway.
