    I'll be saying some prayers for your father, your family and for the family of the donor. As a person who has been at the other end of this, with a loved one being the donor, it's nice to hear how our loved ones have changed someone's life. Good luck and God Bless!

    May The Lord God blessings be upon you. May He guide the hands of each to each medical professional entrusted for the care of your dad and and give them wisdom and discernment. I pray that Our Faither will help you to know He is there with you each step of the way. May you be at peace with His Will. May The Lord who is the divine Healer grant your dad physical and spiritual strength as well as give all needd encouragement to him, you and the rest of your family.

    Praying right now, for your dad, of course~for the doctors, hospital staff, viability and a perfect match for the liver, and as you requested for peace for the family of the donor...May God bless each with His mercy! I also am praying for you and for the rest of your family, for peace and comfort during and after the surgery! Praying for a miraculous surgery and recovery as well!! God is good all the time and to be mightily praised! May His will be done!!

    OMG OMG OMG - Please keep my family in your prayers... My Dad just got the call for his liver transplant...

    he is on his way into NYC for scheduled surgery at midnight. we have to Pray that the liver is viable and a good match, but if it is, its his!!

    This would be an amazing blessing for us... I am incredibly hopeful... and forever indebted to those who are organ donors... I am humbled by the fact that someone had to lose their life in order for my father to have another chance at his...

    May the family of the donor have some peace tonight knowing that they have bestowed the gift of life to so many... may God bless them now and forever.........

    Thoughts and prayers to your father and your family. I hope the liver is a match and is accepted well. There are so many advances that have expanded the matching capabilities for transplant recipients. I am a nurse and actually have been taking care of a woman several weeks post op from a liver transplant and she is doing fantastic. I wish your dad the same great recovery!
