    Took a week but I finally made 8!

    Daily goal is 8

    4/1 - 3
    4/2 - 5
    4/3 - 6
    4/4 - 6
    4/5 - 7

    4/2 -- 3 glasses (was actually thirsty -- had some leftover pizza. Used my Shur Fine H20 fruit punch flavoring (same as Crystal Light)
    4/3 -- 3 glasses (Shur Fine H20 again)
    4/4 -- 3 glasses (Shur Fine H20 again)
    4/5 -- 3 glasses of the Shur Fine H20 again
    4/6 -- 5 glasses (flavored water again but I've moved up to 5. YAY)

    I think this is a great challenge! I don't have problems drinking the water, but I wanted to encourage you guys a little. When I first started a while ago, the only water I could stand drinking was the flavored water. As I kept with it and increased my water intake, I slowly started getting rid of the flavoring and I only use it occasionally now. It's a process, and everyone needs to take their time and see what works for them.

    I drink water like a fish.

    Just a helpful suggestion (take it or leave it):
    When I first started upping my water, I hated water... HATED. So I made it a process and now it's just what I do... paperwork *water* computer work *water* in the car *water* lol.

    The Process:

    At every main meal drink an 8 oz glass BEFORE, an 8 oz glass DURING, an 8 oz glass AFTER. 3 meals a day x 3-8 oz glass = 9.

    Overtime that became a minimum for me. Don't worry, you won't float away, and yes, you will pee a lot, but I assure you, the body adjusts.

    A little late to the game here, but just saw this now. This is my biggest challenge, getting in the water.

    Minimum goal is 64oz (8 cups) Ideal goal is 96oz (12 cups)

    I am not joining your challenge because I would float away LOL. I drink 64 to 128 oz daily. I wanted to give a suggestion to help those having problems getting it in. Buy a 64 oz clear water bottle with a top you like drinking from. Yeah that sounds weird but I like a sports bottle top and just the opening weirds me out to drink from. Fill up the entire days worth of water and add in the amount of MIO or crystal light or whatever it is. Bring it every where with you and sip from it throughout the day. Drinking more just before meal times or while working out. It helped me go from almost no water all the way up to that 128 oz some days. Also when I am bored and think that I might want to snack that is when the water bottle is great I drink from that and 20 minutes later if I am still hungry I look for a healthy snack. Good luck drinking more water.

    Thanks for the suggestion! I used to have one of those bottles. I put it in the freezer and it started leaking -ohoh -- it was old, though. I use a bottle that holds about 3 glasses' worth and try to carry it with me all day. I'll have to try that suggestion for when I am hungry. That should help me. Thanks again!!
