PJ20: Pearl Jam's 20th anniversary concert/festival last summer in Alpine Valley, WI. Awesome show.

I've tried several times now to see Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam shows and always seem to either have to work or miss out on tix. PJ is my favorite band. Lame. I did watch the PJ20 docu...incredible.

The only time I've ever seen Eddie Vedder live was when Death Cab For Cutie brought him out to jam during a performance of We Looked LIke Giants.
Do what ever you have to do to get to a show the next time they tour. You will not be disappointed.

I plan to. I think last I saw they were only touring Europe this year...though Eddie Vedder may be coming here solo again I can't remember. Honestly I love his solo stuff as much as I love PJ so either show would be heaven to me.

I got opening night tickets to Michael Jackson's Victory tour at Dodger stadium.

I was like ten years old. No concert will ever top that one!

Much more recently, I have seen John Mayer three differen times, once at the Hollywood Bowl, once at Shoreline (in Nor Cal) and once in San Jose. I super puffy sparkly heart him...so those experiences were dreamy :blushing:

Aerosmith with GnR opening, right at the time GnR was breaking big...during Knockin' on Heaven's Door, Axl got into a fight with a fan, the band played the song, Axl came back and the finished it like nothing happened.

Also, Aerosmith happened to play alot of Rocks stuff that night, so very rare
That would have been an awesome show. GnR when they still had to work for it, and Aerosmith before they went completely soft.

    Tool, opened by Tricky 2002

WOW...I would have loved to have seen that show!!!

I think the best show I saw was Prince. Candlebox, Live and Seether all sounded fantastic live and I have tickets to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers next month. I have a feeling they will move to the top of my list.

The Foo Fighters. They played over 2.5 hours when I saw them in Pittsburgh recently. Audioslave and ACDC were tied for my favorite prior to the FF.

Solo stuff is awesome too. I'd have to say the second best show I've seen was Eddie Vedder solo on the Uke tour. Seeing him in this small, intimate venue, and him filling the place up with his talent was amazing.

The most unexpected concert/show I ever been to The Civil Wars in 2009. I've been in love ever since.

Best concert hands down has to be NKOTB Live tour 10/2/08 in DC. But that may be because I had backstage tickets and got to meet the group and get autographs. Still best concert memory EVER!!!!!!

Oh wow it is a toss up between Motley Crue's Girls, Girls, Girls Tour in 1987 and Def Leppard's Hysteria Tour in 1988. They both rocked!!

Oingo Boingo at the Warfield in 1992. No opening band - just 3 hours of rolicking fun music without a single break. Danny Elfman is a MACHINE.

It was seriously the best show I've seen - and I've been to over 100 stadium sized concerts.

I'm really a metal girl so I have high hopes for a good show when I take my 13 year old daughter to her first rock concert in August - Kiss and Motley Crue

I have gone to a ton of concerts but have to say my favorites were:

NIN in 2009(?) here in Manchester Nh. F***ing amazing music and visuals, Trent Reznor is a God.
Tool in 2010. Again amazing music to get lost in.
Deftones 2011 in little old Hampton beach Casino...Chino Morales is effortlessly cool.

Anytime I've seen Sevendust I'm never disappointed!

And about a million others, but I love live shows so it's hard to have one favorite!

the cd release show for a CD i did the artwork for, Irving Plaza, NYC, July 21, 2011 sold out, 108 degrees in the middle of the 'NYC Heatpocalypse' the tiniest lbd i ever slipped into... sweat running down the back of my neck, my spine, my bare tan legs, my stilettos clicking on the sparkly sidewalks outside at 5 am, clinking glasses, VIPing it up, shooting the show from the stage with my fave camera, in love with life and the energy from stage was so damn contagious and perfect......

    brb to change panties

i left with the band, got home a week later.
