Prince (Vienna-Austria 1993)
Anastazia (Ljubljana-Slovenia)0 -
Kenny Wayne Shepherd - 2001 (or 2000, can't remember)
Moby - 1998 (yes, the techno guy...man is one of the performers I've ever seen, he can work the stage)
Linkin Park - 1999 (pre-Hybrid Theory release...saw them twice after that and they lost an edge)
AFI & Distillers - 2000 (same show, both excellent!)
Local H - 1996 (when the original two were still together)0 -
California Jam 1974 was quite an event. Loved it for the party.
But the best was either ZZ Top, Edgar and Johnny Winter, Rory Gallagher in 1976, or, Steve Miller two years ago.0 -
Hmm. Not sure if I can choose between the 2 gigs so here they are.
Metallica - Korn - Slipknot
Or ...
Slipknot - Slayer - Mastadon - Hatebreed.0 -
#1... EmmyLou Harris
#2...B52's
#3...Ray Lamontagne(solo...accoustic)
sorry...couldn't choose just one.0 -
I've been to very few concerts but the best of them was definitely Marilyn Manson. He is an amazing showman- totally connected with the crowd, huge energy.0
-
RAMMSTEIN! It was INSANE!
Close seconds is a tie between Foo Fights, Pearl Jam, and Weezer.0 -
Metallic when they were touring for the "Load" Album, with an opening by Day of the New. BEST CONCERT EVER.
Oh...
And..
Iron Maiden with Dream Theatre as an opening act.0 -
Lady Gaga has to top them all for me...Aerosmith and even Elton John can't top her (and I loved both of them live, too!). Sang every note live, sooo much crowd interaction between songs, crazy sets and outfits, best concert ever.0

iron maiden, kiss, david lee roth ,megadeth, guns n roses, helloween,

AAAAAAAAHHHHH I saw Monsters of Rock at CalExpo! That was an epic show!0 -
Definitely the Dixie Chicks top of the world shows (went to 7 of them all over the country and went backstage several times). Great, great musicians and ladies -- sound exactly like their CD's -- no need for lip-syncing and auto-tune.
Fortunately, I've worked for a radio station as a photographer and saw a large variety of concerts -- some of the best have been Sugarland, Miranda Lambert (before this year.. wasn't too thrilled with the last concert), Tom Petty, P!NK, and even, yes, N'Sync.
Getting to see Neil Diamond and Coldplay this year - very excited.0 -
Oingo Boingo in 1984 or Toad the Wet Sprocket 1993.0
-
Rammstein at the Los Angeles Forum last year from the front row. I got a sunburn. They are coming back this year weee! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aRxHLN3J1s0

Ozzfest 2006
Tool
Lady Gaga
Yup, random lol0 -
Bruce Springsteen absolutely. 2008, 2009 and 2010. He is so beautiful.0
-
I fell asleep at a Billy Joel concert in Orlando in 1991. (That was not the best.)
I get the most enjoyment from small local artists at small local venues.0 -
Duran Duran at the NEC 2011 ...had been cancelled due to Le Bon losing his voice so had to wait 6 months........I had waited since I was a teenager..............it was awesome, the greatest concert EVER!0
-
Emilie Autumn's "Asylum: The Door" tour 2009. When your concert involves spitting whiskey on the audience, throwing cupcakes, bitten cookies, and having them throw their bras on stage, you know it's a good time. It's a rock concert meets a circus meets a Vaudeville show.0

Dream Theater with Queensryche, hands-down.
I wish I'd kept a good list of all the bands I've seen. From what I can remember, in no particular order:
Metallica with Sevendust and Kid Rock
Collective Soul
Eddie Money
In Flames with Mudvayne
Type O Negative
David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar
Nightwish (at ProgPower with Rage, Symphony X, Evergrey, Circle II Circle, Vanden Plas, Secret Sphere, Mercenary, Pagan's Mind, and Redemption)
Lacuna Coil
probably a few others I've forgotten0 -
1) Broken Social Scene at Loufest in 2010, about 10 rows back
2) Steve Miller Band, front row
3) Foreigner, only because Jason Bonham was playing with them and they did an LZ tribute and I got to meet him backstage
4) Kings of Leon in 2010
5) The National
6) Tokyo Police Club at the Blue Note, love that place0 -
JANIS JOPLIN!!!!! LIVE AT THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS IN SAN JOSE, THE DATE WAS MAY 18TH, 1968!!!!!!!0

July 2010 I went to watch Chipmunk + Aggro Santos! They were both amazing!
In 2006 I went to watch Sugababes, they were pretty good too!0 -
A Day To Remember in Atlanta, GA at the Masquerade last year (April 2011) So amazing!! It had to be outside b/c there were so many people. Got lost getting there, but that was fun and we were kinda freaked out b/c we ended up in the bad part of atlanta lol. There was a thunderstorm and tornado watch. Amps were blowing up, stage was flooding, we were soaked! But everyone stayed. Nobody left! Nobody cared. There was so much mud and moshing going on. Super crazy! It was the cooliest thing EVER!!! And there's a video with them on the MTV website!! So cool!! A night I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET...0

Awwwh Wow!0 -
This one is hard because that's all I did from the age of 12 on. Pogues, 2009, in Atlanta was fantastic! I saw The Ramones in Boulder in 1994. I was close enough to be sweated on by the band. Awesome! Lallapalooza 1992 in Chicago was a trip. Green Day back when they were still playing $5 all ages shows in VFW halls were good. Love some Screeching Weasel. Depeche Mode in Denver was only ok, but The The opened and they were fab. And there were a million other local bands that rocked that I really miss. Oh yeah and Slag Heap! That was the hub's band.0
