    escorting is a little expensive to get started (if you really want to make money) - getting an account on eccie.com or eros.com
    ecci.com doesn't work and eros.com doesn't have anything in Arkansas sadly

    By the way this isn't about me. I have a friend who is far behind on everything (I'm talking hundreds to thousands worth of bills). Her power was shut off, she no longer have food or anyway to cook, water is about to get shut off and so is gas. House payment is due and soon she'll end up on the street.

    She was offered a job to be a waitress/stripper/massage. All depended on what the manager wanted her doing at the time. No sexual contact unless she approved of it first. And it had to be a written approval before the guy was allowed to go private.

    She use to do cam work but wasn't making much of anything.

    If this were my daughter I would want her to come to me for help rather than start this kind of work.

    Thank you for posting your question. My perspective comes from being a father to 4 daughters, and prior to marriage I frequented strip clubs on occasion and attended "Over The Line" in Mission Bay, once.

    I will not tell you what I think or tell you what to do. I ask that you consider these questions:

    1) Am I safe? Is my health at risk?

    2) DO I enjoy what I do and whom I work with, or is it the money only?

    3) If education or qualifications were no object, what would I like to be doing? Real estate? Ultrasound tech? Systems tech? Adult work?

    4) Am I willing to do the work to meet my goals? (Just like MFP)

    If you are asking us to suggest what is ok and not ok to do to pay the bills, maybe you already know the answer.

    Sorry - how is this related to the goals of MFP. The same question arises - if you have to worry about whether you ask the question or whether you are not following MFP rules and guidelines then surely you should choose not to ask this question here. There must be an alternate forum to ask ADULT questions of this nature. I am not offended by it - just don't think it is appropriate for this forum

    Personally I don't care what people do as long they are not hurting anyone but one thing to remember is that not everyone has a laid back attitude about it and it can come back and bite you in the rear later on in life, like decreasing your changes for employment in other fields and making yourself less marketable which some don't think about at the moment when getting into adult fields.

    If you've got a good head on your shoulders to know better than to get into the drugs that go along with some of that territory (ie. dancing at strip bars, escort, hooking, etc) if you're comfortable with the idea, go for it, but of course do consider the risks involved. Regardless of using protection, many STDs can still be contracted and can wreak havoc on your reproductive system and physical well being for the rest of your life. For the short amount of time that a young woman might work to pay off a few bills, it could mean that later on you might have to explain to future potential long-term partners that you are a carrier of HIV or an STD. Other potential risks could be stalkers or clients who become violent, depending on the type of work that you'd be doing.

    However, if you're looking at becoming a webcam girl, that would be a much safer way to go about it health wise, but then you must keep in mind that your private viewings are recorded by the company that you would be working for and will forever be accessible to future clients, even when you stop working. Again, if you know what you'd be getting yourself into and have considered the risks, go for it.

    Well, if you're morally comfortable with it, then by all means. Stripping is usually the safer option (My buddy owns most of the strip clubs so I know a thing or 2 about adult industry). The other methods, like webcam and videos can be iffy, specially if you're trying to make a quick buck. Escort, you're gonna get screwed (excuse the pun). You're not only gonna be in dangerous and vulnerable situations where you'll be constantly abused, but you will get ripped off by your "person who handles your money" and alot of times by your customers too.

    However, if you do want to strip (which ones again, is the safer route) you will have to be a bit ...smart. You're basically a con artist with license to con people as long as you're not giving sexual favors. Alot of girls make minimum of $200 on a very slow night and in a dead beat area with a dead beat body. On a decent area you can get $500 typically and if you're good at what you do along with the right situation (good location, good private parties etc) you can bring upwards of $1000 a night.

    Good luck making money with your private parts. You're an inspiration to all the young girls out there who try to make money scrubbing toilets and flipping burgers. YES WE CAN!

    Plus I would not recommend it to no one, because there are other safe ways to make money..You just got to look for it.

    Everything comes with a price and while you may not see it today, what you do may have an adverse effect on your future one day. What if you meet a wonderful man and he has a great job but can not take the risk of your past getting out because of his position? What about one day explaing to your kids, or them having to defend you because you tried to take the "easy" way out?

    All of us hit hard times. I had to financially support a family (my siblings) before I was even old enough to drive, I am now a single mother, supporting three kids ON MY OWN while going to college full time and I have NEVER felt like sacrificing my integrity was an option. I've waited tables, I've cleaned toilets, I've worked in nursing homes and all kinds of undesirable things to make ends meet but the one thing I've never done is devalue myself.

    Tell her to file for chapter 13 to protect her house and get rid of her other debt, then get rid of everything that isnt a need. At that point she can get a job at walmart (if needed) and make ends meet until she finds something better. Then if she still wants to get an "" Adult Job""" thats her option ( like I said I dont judge) but at that point it wont be her only option and I think she should exhaust every other option before she goes down that road.

    You sound like my boyfriend...he cried his eyes out cause I went walking in a well populated area with really bright lights, cameras, and police patrolling. Just so happened it was after 9pm and there was a heightened chance I could get kidnapped in front of hundreds of people.

    Yeah. It's a very dangerous business. There are other ways to work your way through this, even though they might seem easier, they are far, far more dangerous.

    I know this will offend someone and someone will go crying to the mods to have it closed. But until then I want your opinions on a male or female doing "adult" type work to pay bills, school payments, medical bills, etc. Sure you can say GO GET A REAL JOB! But what IS a REAL job?

    Please no insults and no rude comments. There ARE excuses so no "They should get a job, there's no excuse." You never know a person's situation and you never know what they've been through or what have you.

    Interesting that this is the first and only post of this new person. Why join a weight loss forum to post about adult topics. A trifle attention seeking perhaps??

    Do what you want then. I know girls who charged big $$$/hr as escorts, and didn't need to advertise, and they still got hurt. The girls who think it won't happen to them are usually the ones crying in the shower at night. I'm out of this one. You just want someone to tell you it's a smart idea.     As somebody who has seen some nightmares in his life (lookup Flint, MI. I have lived in the worst part of one of the worst cities in America), I can tell you that you're BF is a smart person. Being confident is good, being overconfident is stupid. Its your life, however, and as a person of some moral, I would feel disgusted with myself if I atleast not warned you about things. Good luck.
