I love to make baked oatmeal. Oatmeal, egg beaters, a little low fat milk, applesauce, and then i put some sliced apples on top and dust with light brown sugar. So yummy! You can add nuts, raisins, craisins, all kinds of things depending on your likes!

Also, I forgot to say I used to make carrot cake oats. Take a small, grated carrot and cook it with the oats. When it's done, add a little vanilla extract and/or some vanilla protein powder. That's yummy.

This sounds fantastic! I'll have to try it, and add some raisins and spices. Another answer I'll have to try is shredded coconut with cocoa powder (I'd add banana to that one).

I cook mine with a tsp of sugar and a pinch of salt, then mix in a couple heaping spoonfuls of plain greek yogurt and whatever fruit I have around (usually apples or bananas, occasionally some berries). Sometimes I sub in maple syrup or honey for the sugar.

Has anyone ever used brewed coffee instead of water? It sounds like it could work, but I'm too chicken to try it lol :)

Peanut butter maple syrup combination. If I could only have one of those in my oatmeal, I'd put the maple syrup.

    1/2 cup oats + 1/2 banana + 1 T peanut butter + cinnamon

    OR

    1/2 cups oats + 1/2 banana + 1T pecans or walnuts + cinnamon
  • Sultanas at the moment. Sometimes with a little cinnamon too.
