You know how your mother's been emotionally abusing you for years? Guess what - she's also a pedophile. She made tapes of you and raped her sister when she was 20 and her sister was 11. All that money she made selling her movie to Lifetime? Made it because she figured out how to watch child porn legally... and . In 3 years you're going to meet the scum of the earth and get pregnant, but it's okay because you'll find that having a daughter with autism is one of the most rewarding things you'll ever experience. Yep, the doctors were wrong... you're not sterile. In fact, you're going to meet the most amazing man in the world who will love you, your daughter and your future son like nothing else.
Wow. This made me cry. :sad:0 -

Dear 16 Year Old Self,
You are NOT fat! 25 years from now you will look at these pictures & say what the hell was wrong with me, I'm was as cute as a f****** button. Get out of that corner you are always hiding in & live a little. You know that guy Shawn you have a serious crush on, he turns out to be a fabulous man, so don't give up on him, it'll be your biggest regret. BTW, you still have a crush on him when you are 40. Stay away from anyone named Joe, Rich, or Jim, they will suck the life right out of you. Be good to yourself, you turn out to be a wonderful woman!
Love,
40 Year Old Self
P.S. Cigarettes sucks & you need hugs, not drugs0 -
You ARE a good person with a good heart. Stop letting those aholes who tease you because you dress differently break you down! Those idiots you are dating are just that...idiots. The man you will end up marrying is a good friend of yours already that happens to be a nerd. Snag him now. Watch out for his Mom though. She's nuts!0

Dear 16 yr old me,
Just a few things.. Don't dare give up on cross country. Listen to your mother when she tells you that she doesn't approve of your boyfriend (good thing she likes the one I'm marrying now :P), Oh and because you can now, doesn't mean eat that 7th plate of food!!0 -
Dear 16 year old me...
Be less angry, be fearless and stop thinking about tomorrow and live for today.0 -
Dear Sam,
Truly begin to see yourself the way God sees you. If you have questions about that, see Psalm 139. Loving yourself now will make it easier to take care of yourself later. Continue to wait for the person that God has for you even though you don't want children or a husband now... God will change your mind about the second one later. Don't worry about not feeling like a part of the family, when you get married, you'll become a part of his family and you'll feel as though this is where you were always supposed to be. When you go to college to study English, don't leave. Don't change your mind and pursue Mathematics. Work hard as a teaching assistant; it will land you a teaching job when you finally graduate college.
Don't ignore the warning signs. When you start to feel sick, go see a doctor. It will save you lots of surgery, pain, and time in the hospital later. And when you feel sick again, don't wait so long to see a doctor. Seems like common sense but sometimes you lack that.
When you join the track team in high school, run. You'll love the way your body looks and you'll feel great. Don't waste time on boys that you're not gonna marry, you'll get your heart wrapped in it and then carry those hurts into your marriage... it's not fair to your husband.
Give more. Don't be so fricken selfish. Remember what the Bible says about giving and do it. It will make your marriage go a lot smoother.
Enjoy your teenage years... don't wish them away. Stay close with your siblings, it will be hard (but not impossible) to mend the fences later.
You're great. You're smart. You're more than capable of achieving your dreams. Go for it. Oh, and when you earn that scholarship to that community college that you don’t respect, use it. You'll end up earning your first degree from there later, anyway.
I really love who you are going to become. It will all be worth it.
Signed,
Your 29 year old self0 -

Dear 16 year old me,
Dump Nick he's going to cheat on you 6 months into the marriage and he's going to get her prego. It's going to really mess with your head. Try out for soccer every year! Do dance and stick with it after high school. Mom and Dad are going to move after graduation, MOVE with them. Keep doing what you're doing, you're doing a great job!

Wear more sunscreen, your parents divorce turns out for the best and you are going to love your early 20's! Oh and do not ride Lacy on your 17th birthday. She will throw you over a fence and you will end up with a cracked tailbone and in the hospital!0

Don't listen to your mom - all men are not *kitten* - when a guy asks you out say YES!
You are pretty.
Be confident.
Smile.
Quit wearing black all the time.0 -
Stop crying over that boy. He wasn't that into you. You'll meet an amazing man at 22 who love you more than you knew was possible.
Your so-called "thunder thighs" and big butt will actually be sexy when you get out of high school. Crazy right?!
Stop eating all that candy...you're going to end up with a mouth full of cavities.
You will not be a professional dancer. Sorry. However, you will have 2 beautiful children that love to watch you dance in the mirror like you are in a music video. It's a good life.0 -
Dear 16 yr old me,
Relax, get some, but wear protection. Also, study a subject you'll like. Don't know what you like just yet? Relax and let it come to you.0 -
Just because you got pregnant at 14 doesn't mean you HAVE to stay with him. And just because you are rasing a child and going to school full time doesn't mean you can't workout and eat right. It's not an excuse to become obese. Teach your daughter healthy eating and make exercise fun. One day she'll be 4 and tell you she WANTS to be fat just like you. Start now! It'll be easier then after you've gained another 70# and don't think you can do it. Don't settle for anything or anyone less then you deserve. Go on a date, ask someone out, believe it or not guys actually do like you! Don't give up because you don't get fast results. Everything great is worked for!0
