      Smile a lot, laugh at his jokes (even if they aren't funny lol). Touch him if possible (like just put your hand on his shoulder, or pat his arm briefly while talking). Some people say even little thinks like crossing your legs towards him, rather than away from him can make you seem more interested. Also, people generally like to talk about themselves, so if an opportunity opens, talk about him and things that are interesting to him.

      last time I flirted? It was kind of a 3rd party flirt. asked the guy if my girlfriends and I could share his table (there were no free tables and the band was HOT). None of us were interested in him, but by the evening we joined with the gals next to us and he ended up with 2 phone numbers. It worked for us.

      Just be yourself. Start up a conversation. If a guy says hi or smiles don't be affraid to smile back. Unless he's the weird creepy fat dude in the bar. Don't talk to him.

      The girls that are overly fake, plastic, oooh look at me...don't do that. Men who are attracted to those just want to get laid. And they don't care who it's with.

      About the "just smile" thing ... I recently had two male friends tell me to do this because it allegedly tells men that you are open to being approached. So yesterday, I saw two cute guys. Both made eye contact with me multiple times from a short distance. I smiled at both of them, and they both quickly looked away. One guy looked like he wanted to say something to me because he kind of gave me a half smile before he looked away. And then nothing. This advice is a fail, so far.

      MFP's very own Binary Jester told me once, when I was getting mixed signals from a guy, to walk up to him, grab him by the balls, and say "You. Me. Dinner later this week." I'm growing more tempted to try this method.
