I'm considering getting down to 160, but my first goal was always 175... just never thought I'd get close0 -
I'm 5'8" and currently my ultimate goal is 140lbs, but anything under 150 is when I start to feel good..so I guess it depends on your body type.0

I'm the top end of 5' 7" and at last weigh in a couple of weeks ago i was 160.9 lbs... my goal weight is 145

Maybe see what you think when you get there? It depends a lot on frame. My stats are:
SW 319
GW 165
CW 153.6
I could lose more in the bottom half of my body, but my top half is getting a little skeletal so I stopped and am working on weights and lots of walking/hiking to improve fitness. Here's a before/after at about 155. All of the pictures I take are pretty clothed because 165 pounds lost leaves a lot of skin behind.

I am 5' 7.5" and started out at 180 lbs, current weight 147lbs, goal weight 135 lbs but my main problem area is my belly so when ever that is not bulging out over my pants lol0

Same here 5 '7 and half started around 185 and am now at 149. My original goal was 145 but being so close, Im thinking 135...I also, dont want the belly roll over my pants0

I was at 150lbs a few years ago and THRILLED with it.

I feel very comfortable at 140 myself. Above that I start feeling it when I bend over. Below that my bones stick out in my arms. I have always had small wrists even when I was in the 180's.0

I'm 5'8" and my stats are
SW - 164
CW-155
First goal is 145
Second goal is 140
Ultimate goal is 135 but I am ok if I stay anywhere between here and 140. I am going to really focus on body fat once I reach 145.0 -
I'm 5'7". The lowest I was was at 155lbs and I really had a hard time maintaining that. I am now at 210lbs and my goal wt is ~175.0

Also 5'8". Two years ago I hit my heaviest at 240. I started working out and changing my diet about three weeks ago.. I've gone from 235 to 229, and my final goal weight is 170. My frame/build is on the larger side (I come from a genetic pool of broad shoulders and child-bearing hips) and am looking to gain more muscle.0

I'm 5'8 and until I got married I was always thin weighing around 100-110 depending on the day, which was to thin but I couldn't gain weight back then to save my life. Throw in a husband, child and a laziness and I now weigh 160lbs which I think is to big for my bone structure (tiny). My long term goal is 130-135lbs. To achieve it I've set a goal, right now I'm training to run my first 5K in October! Yikes!0

I'm almost 5'8 the lowest weight I have ever been was in my early 20's and I weighed 128 lbs. I rarely ate, (diet coke and sugar free gum for dinner) and I smoked (I quit at 37)
My highest weight was 250 lbs. I was miserably depressed, unhealthy, borderline type 2 diabetes, etc.
I lost 90 lbs three years ago, and have been able to maintain, give or take 5 pounds.
I am just working on firming up and being HEALTHY. (eating, exercising, etc) Trying not to be a number, because it just messes with my head.

I am 5'8 and currently 199. I am not sure what what will look the best since my body has changed so much since having children. I am very hour glass so I tend to carry weight better. I am so unhappy at this weight though and at the moment would like to come in around 155-160.0

Yeah you look great at 140!!! Thats my goal. To be around 145 however I will be ok with 150....

My goal weight is 175 and to reevaluate once I get there. My starting weight was 254, CW 243. I just started about a month ago and have a long way to go. I too want to be stronger and healthier. Once I hit 175, I will see how I feel/look and what size clothes I am in at that point. Just looking forward to getting under 200 at this point0

I 5'8" ish closer to 5'9" and I started at 312lbs. Currently I am at 183lbs and in a perfect world my goal is 165 lbs, but ill be happy in the 170s. I think that the best way to determine one's weight is through BMI (body mass index). You can calculate it online and is what most doctors based their calculations on. Hope this post can help!!!0 -
I'm 5'8 and I don't really care what I weigh for the most part....I seem to settle well into 165-170 for a reference point but that is subject to change. I just care about my body fat %. I started at 34% and am aiming for under 20%....whatever I weigh when I get there is just a number on the scale.......people can weigh 140 pounds at this height and still be flabby (low body weight but high body fat......skinny fat). I would much rather weigh more, get to eat more, have lower body fat and look like a lean mean fighting machine0

Not really sure once I add a little more heavy lifting.
If you look at the super heavy weight lifting ladies, muscle doesn't seem to weight all that much. If a woman is 5'8", she weighs 160. I would have imagined around 185 or so.0
