    i will definitely try these.
just need to buy a mandolin.
Oh! I forgot to add that I didn't have one of those brand of cutters - just a cheapo slicer that I got at a garage sale. It sliced the potato really thin, and did the trick. I'm sure the mandolin brand would do better, though I don't know what the V cut is for, but my little cutter did fine.

i didn't know mandolin was a brand, just thought it was the thin slicing tool.
i wonder if a veggie peeler would work - or would they be too thin?

    sounds awesome!!
  • These are amazing.... I never thought I could make something so similar to a chip, yet 100x more healthier!

    I KNOW!!!

A veggie peeler might make them a little too thin... but you could try it? I used the 1/8" thickness on my mandolin. I didn't know mandolin was a brand either, mine definitely doesn't have a v thing, just some uber sharp blades and a little knobby thing to adjust the thickness of the slice.

I had these for dinner tonight. I don't microwave so I used the oven at 400 degrees. THEY ARE TO DIE FOR!

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Will try it, thanks. Hadn't thought of the Microwave. We've been using the oven at 400deg with parchment paper cauliflower tater tots, parsnip chips and asparagus fries. Good stuff. We use the olive oil spray so it is really low fat and cal.
