    I like this. However, as an ex competitive swimmer I always find it funny how underrepresented the swimming portion is in triathalons

    Looks like some great progress so far this month. Gotten lost from posting, not from achieving my goals!

    A little late to the game on this, jumping in mid-month but I just saw this challenge today. I am training for my first sprint distance tri in July so this challenge is perfect. Had I set my goals at the start of the month, I would have gone with the traditional goals. That said, looking at my training log thus far, here is my progress as of May 15:

    Swim: 5000 meters (3.1 miles)
    Bike: 23 miles
    Run: 5 miles

    This certainly made me realize that my training has been "swim-centric" because that is the discipline that scares me most. Hitting the biking goal may be tough - time for some longer workouts!

    Total - 32 miles running. 1.5 miles swim.

    Definitely going to hit my running goal this week. The weather has been so nice in Minnesota that I have wanted to be outside instead of in the pool! I should still hit my other goals too though.

    Bike 15 Hours (Most is on an indoor trainer so easier for me to keep up with hours)
    Run 30 Miles

    I have been fighting a respiratory infection the last two weeks so my training the last 2 weeks has been minimal. We will see what I can make up.

    First open water swim is tomorrow night!

    I think I may actually be able to get the run/walk and swim, not too sure with the biking though.

    Ok, I JUST saw this and I LOVE the idea. I am in for the Ironman distance. Really great since I am training for HIM Augusta in September. So far, my totals are:

    Swim- 2.61 miles
    Bike- 49.66 miles - need to work on this one
    Run- 26.39 miles

    I will be definitely hitting the bike hard for the rest of the month!
