The reason I drink...

I have 3 kids; the 8-year old is an A student, a Girl Scout and is advancing nicely in Tae Kwon Do. Her brother and sister are 2 1/2-year old twins... they are payback for everything my husband and I did wrong in our youth... and everyone else’s youth. I'm convinced of it. :frown:
This is just one week in my life raising twins. I am fortunate that nothing major has been broken (like 52” TVs) but as a professional organizer/neat freak… these two may do me in.
The climber:
Broken drawer fronts (3 so far):
2:00AM this morning, bathroom door was locked:
Naptime:
A lock was broken to get to the markers and flash cards:
This needs a bit of explanation... 6 parts really:
Step 1; remove large green suitcase from underbed.
Step 2; remove small pink suitcase from inside large green suitcase.
Step 3; remove toy bag from inside pink suitcase.
Step 4; remove vanity bag from inside pink toy bag inside pink suitcase inside green suitcase underneath bed.
Step 5; Find sunscreen.....
This is Step 6; cover sleeping brother in sunscreen... she's so sleathy he never woke up. :noway:
Best part of this photos, okay second after the Maker's is the crying child in the background.
I keep telling myself I get a special place in heaven if they survive.
*Okay, now I wanna see y'alls!!!

I cannot post photos on the grounds that I may incriminate myself and/or others.
My friend has boy/girl twins. The boy ate his own poop, and smeared in on a (childless) friend's living room throw pillows. The girl also convinced him to hide in the dryer, eat a bug, and pretty much whatever.
Last week, we were tossing bread to an injured duck in her yard. We were so busy watching the duck, it wasn't until later I noticed her son picking up the bread off the ground and eating it. He is four.
Feel better?0 -
OMG! I'm drinking for you! Don't know how you are keeping sane!0

I kinda like these moments...0

i feel very fortunate that my 2 year old is as well behaved as she is. but i definitely have had her put things in the toilet before. for some reason they are fascinated with it.0

We waited 10-years to have kids. The idea was to travel and enjoy just being married. Thank heavens we did. We're making up for lost time. LOL!
I still want the video montage of this stage. Just fast forward, add great music a few sound bites... DONE!0 -
My twins are barely grown (almost 19) and they still give me headaches and spend all my money!0
-
OMG....that was hilarious! You poor thing! You TOTALLY deserve a drink...or ten! Lol :drinker:0
