they are approximations anyways. It all depends on the kind of peanut butter, protein powder, etc you use.0 -

I tried this as is right after it was posted and they turned out alright. I went low on the peanut butter with about 3 tablespoons, and knew I should have gone with more when they were done. I also added some sunflower seeds to my mix.
I did it again tonight with some slight variations and liberty with some of the ingredients and it looks something like this:
I picked up a "Ice cream sandwich tray" from Wal-Mart so I could get the bars more evenly matched as far as servings go. Apparently the original idea of this tray was to bake some brownies or cookies for the "bread" part of the ice cream sandwich.
I found out the first time that one big sheet bar doesn't always cut as evenly as you would like. Added some zero cal olive oil cooking spray to the tray so the bars don't stick. Pop them in the freezer for a little bit to "set" then into the fridge. Sometime tomorrow I will pull them out and vacuum seal each one of them in their own "wrapper" and they'll be good to go for quite a while.

Bump ... but I have to find a substitute for the oatmeal as I'm primal. Might try 1 cup almond meal and 1 cup unsweetened coconut (to keep them chewy). As soon as I can find that wonderful cookie sheet/pan I'm going to try them.0
