can't wait to try this. Sonic used to offer a Birthday Cake shake and it was my fave. And Marble Slab or equivilent offers cake batter icecream...

    hugs to you for sharing!

TRY IT! My husband felt this way, but I made him try one of my DD shakes, and he said, "WOW!" You absolutely can't taste the cottage cheese--it just does wonders for the texture though!

Hmmm...I mean I do *love* cake batter flavored anything, so maybe I'll give it a shot

Save your self the trouble and just have a Body By Vi Shake. They are so much better for you and taste just like cake every time.
    2 scoops vi mix
8-10 oz of milk, almond milk etc
    few ice cubes.
    Blend.
    CAKE! :)
    Plus cheaper too! :)

    Have a great day!

Cheaper too? I almost died laughing. Seriously. I'm composed again now though. For a moment.

Shakes are 1.65 each with milk around 2.00 per shake. You can't make this recipe for that much. Even divided out per shake.

You really CANNOT taste the cottage cheese, I promise! Make sure you get it all blended tho..nothin' worse than a 'chunky' shake :)

I made a variation today and it was good! I used 1/2 C cottage cheese, 1/2 C unsweetened applesauce, 1 T sugar free butterscotch pudding mix, pinch of salt, pinch of xanathan gum, water and ice cubes. Whirled in my VitaMix, absolutely delish! I know it's not anywhere as near the original as far as protein. However it was much cheaper, and it tasted great! Next time I'm going to try pumpkin instead of the applesauce.
