First thing in morning after toilet before food yes?
Yes - I weigh myself every day right after I go to the bathroom and right before I get in the shower. Why every day? Because if I skip a few days I usually don't like what I see when I get back on. Keeps me on track!0 -

I only log my weight when I'm in my running clothes minus shoes. I figure since I have several of the same running bottoms and tops it wil be accurate. I weigh myself at various states of being clothed, but just only log when I'm wearing the running clothes. I always weigh before I go running or exercise too, I find that if I weigh after I've lost too much water and I don't think it is accurate. I also try to only log my weight if I've consistently been down for a week at least.0

1st thing and only after a dump and totally nekkid only. Lots of onlies. My Health-O-Meter balance beam scale (the old fashioned kind - not the short ones like they have now) - is one of my prize possessions.0

i have tried it with clothes on for most of the time i have been losing, but just to find out the "maximum number" i decided to try it naked one day. walked up to the scale and "dropped trou" and stepped up on the scale. oh wow it felt so freeing, but the only thing i was able to find out other than that freeing feeling was that they don't like you weighing in the buff in the gym..... i meas seriously you would think that they would have some kind of sign posted or something....... well i thought i would share this with y'all to inform you that they don't like this even though i have been ordered not to talk about it since the court case is still pending.... needless to say i have not been allowed back in that gym since though.....0

I weigh myself without clothes once a week, same day of the week, and same time. Fridays first thing when I wake up before I jump in the shower.0

naked/underwear..... I actually find the clothes to give me a mental reason for the weight change if it goes up, so I want no discrepancies.0

I weigh my self butt naked soaking wet...
So I can really say to someone....
" I am a buck seventy butt naked and soaking wet"0 -
First thing, shorts and a tank, after emptying, before food. I weighed the clothes too, so I know how much to subtract for them.0

Always after I pee first thing in the morning completely naked. If I weigh with underwear I usually take them off and weigh again. Oh, and most every time I pass my scale I drop everything and weigh again just to see what the deal is. Yeah, I'm that obsessed.0

Anyone who weighs in in the morning likely sees their weight difference between the morning and evening as "splitting hairs". But let me remind you that since you do gain weight over the course of the day, you may not be at your ideal weight at the time when you truly want to look your best.
Again, that may not matter to some.
I personally want to be at my weight goal when I impress most, which would be the evening. So I weigh in the evening.
Since I weigh at the gym, I weigh in my gym clothes and shoes, which add 1.5 lb. That's a constant, so I could get away with raising my weight goal by 1.5 lb. I'm presently deciding if I'm going to do that.0 -
Often I weigh first thing in the morning in a light nightgown or I'll be in underclothing only unless I'm weighing before shower, then I'd be nude, but typically its not right before shower at least not when I'm doing good on exercise routine because I'll wake up pee(always lol sorry if its TMI) and weigh. Then on to breakfast/meds and then exercise. Has to be the order so my meds have time to get dissolved so they can work at keeping my bp stable once I'm done exercising(when it will go up anyway) then usually shower comes last before I start the day. Or I'll clean house and take my shower in the afternoon. No point in getting a shower to get all sweaty cleaning up.
Jeans can definitely add a lb or 2-3 if you have jeans as big as mine. lol I keep it consistent whatever I do. And I try to wear lighter clothing to Dr's office. I hate to see there so much higher than home. But I know its usually because I'll be in shoes and heavier jeans often.0 -

I concur - I think this is the only way to get an accurate reading if not at dr....if I go to dr, I wear REALLY light clothes and take my shoes off lol every bit counts!0 -
