I'm 5"4 and my starting weight on 7-30-12 was 236. I'm at 232.5 with minimal exercise and sticking to around 1400 calories a day. I'll be adding at least 30 minutes of exercise three times a week starting today. My goal is 175 because I'd like to keep my curves. Add me if you like0

I started over 250 lbs. As of today I weigh 144.2. I am 5'4 as well. I still have a ways to go but I am getting there. After having my daughter 2 years ago I developed hypothyroidism. Which makes this tougher even on good meds! But, persistance pays off. If anything having hypothyroid makes me eat cleaner and work out harder to stay on top of my loss.0

I am between 5'3" and 5'4" and my starting weight was 200. I am now at 173. Check out my profile and add me for support if you'd like!0

I am 5'4". My starting weight was 245 lbs. I now weigh 125 lbs. If I could do it, you can! I yoyo dieted my entire life until I had a close family member (my age) pass away because complications due to her obesity. It scared me. I want to have children one day and I want to live for a long time. I changed my life style. I eat six to seven small meals and exercise for 1 to 2 hours four days a week. Key is moderations and making sure that the calories you consume are used. Good luck on your journey!0

I'm 5'4 (and a half inch :blushing:), but I wasn't 200lb. I was 173 at my highest, and I'm currently 150, been at 150 for 6 months. Just trying to loose my vanity pounds. I have a large frame, so 145-150 is my "set" weight. My goal is a toned, muscley 130lb body! :bigsmile:0

You can do it!! I hate exercise but I accept that I need to do it if I want to eat some of my favorite foods. I don't deprive myself of anything... I've just learned to control my portions and frequency of certain foods. For me it's all about discipline.
You've already made an important first strp - you joined MFP and are asking for help and support!!!0 -
I am 5'4 and started over 200 and weighted in today at 131. This keeps me tracking and helps so much. It can be done but you have to be very careful of what you eat. Once I got the hang of calorie counting I live on this thing. Good luck! It does work, but with a lot of work from you.0

I actually started at 233, current is 184, goal is 1750

I'm not a success...yet. Well actually I have taken the 1st steps towards success.
Anyway I am 210 and 5'5" so close enough.
Use your calories wisley throughout he entire day so that you don't pig out on 1300 remaining calories in one sitting. Remember juice, coffee with milk or cream counts.
AVOID the Starbucks Frappuccino, McDonald's blender drinks, blended yogurt drinks etc because they anywhere from 500-700 calories PER drink.
You can eat a lot more good food in place of that drink and get more out of those good calories.
Take your own popcorn to the movies.
Bye for now.0 -

My actual starting weight was 205ish but I lost focus and put on more weight.
My current SW: 205.6
CW: 215.8
GW: 1250 -
I was at my heaviest at 203lbs @ 5'4"! I lost approximately 40lbs, but I was feeling so good about being able to fit my clothes again, that I became lazy and picked up some of the weight that I lost! My current weigh is 182 and I'm working on losing 40lbs.
I will admit that it does take a lot of work and commitment and you really have to be on point with your eating habits. I actually lost the weight with little exercise (walking six miles on the weekends), and healthy eating. This time, I know it's going to take more of both to get the job done!0 -
